Very professional company who were very receptive to communications and dealt with my purchase very quickly and clearly.
Despite a slight delay and miscommunication around pick-up times and such, it was a seamless process. Shout outs to Sara who was extremely helpful and helped explain the whole process along the way.

Harvey was a very polite and helpful sales person that if he couldn't answer a question would find someone that could . The vehicle we bought exceeded all are expectations .

What a fantastic experience we have had from HPL Wirral. We saw a car online from their Oldham branch and paid a deposit for the car to be moved to Wirral so we could view it. Two days later, the car arrived and we arranged to view it the following day. The initial person we dealt with was unfortunately off so we ending up dealing with a new recruit called Craig. We found Craig to be friendly, chatty and knowledgeable with no pressure to buy even on the test drive. Whilst we were test driving the car, the manager looked at our car to part exchange and upon arriving back, the price that was offered was very fair. As we were deciding, we noticed a few scuffs and dints in the paintwork and a piece of interior trim was missing. We were assured that this would be put right for when we picked it up. We agreed to buy and picked the car up the following week. We were delighted on pick up to discover that the paintwork was immaculate, dints had been buffed out and they had located an interior trim. We also discovered two expensive, brand new tyres had been fitted. A few days after buying it, we noticed there was an issue with the rear window washer. We contacted HPL who said there service team would be in touch which they were the following day. Adam from the service team was very helpful, polite and booked us in for 2 days time. Repair was done quickly and with no hassle or resistance. Whilst we were waiting with a beverage in their waiting area, Craig noticed we were back and came over to sit and talk to us and ask if the car was okay which I thought was a lovely thing to do. After such an awful experience with another dealer 7 years ago, HPL couldn't be more different and has restored our faith in car dealers again! A special thank you to Craig too, what a fantastic new recruit and credit to the company!

Since opening its dealership in Barnsley 3 weeks ago HPL motors have turned the local neighbourhoods in to a parking nightmare, parking their cars within the small residential estates, basically anywhere other than their own site ? ?

More disappointing was the poor attitude demonstrated when trying to discuss the issue with the dealership who obviously couldn't care less about its neighbours and local residents.

Considering my experience I would definitely feel uncomfortable about buying a car from them, alarm bells where ringing.

Excellent experience from start to finish.

I recently bought an electric car from HPL Motors on the Wirral and could not be happier with the experience. No pressure, no hassle and an excellent price. The whole process was incredibly smooth, with the car ready for collection just 72 hours after deciding we wanted it.

A special mention to Allan, who was fantastic throughout. He even came in on his day off to make sure we could collect the car within a tight timeframe. Absolutely brilliant customer service.

I would highly recommend HPL Motors and would definitely buy from them again.

Sara @hpl Preston is the most helpful sales agent I have ever dealt with.
She stuck with us when no-one else would.

We originally just went along to have a look… and ended up buying! The service was that good. From start to finish, everything was fantastic, and we have to give a special mention to Nathan Bartlett, who was absolutely brilliant. He simply could not do enough for us. He went out of his way….fetching the keys, moving cars around so we could see them properly, and making the whole experience so easy and pleasant. Nothing was ever too much trouble, he was genuinely helpful, thoughtful, and made us feel completely at ease.

It was such a refreshing way to buy a car….no pressure, and would absolutely recommend this company and we’d be more than happy to buy from them again in the future. Thank you so much, Nathan!

We visited the Wirral store and were served by Kieran. Only came into have a look at an idea of what we wanted and the staff were that exceptional we left with a car that was very much perfect for us. Communication while preparing the car was amazing and we had all the information and support we needed. Have already advised a few friends to come here for their own cars.

Don't trust this company I paid an extra £900 for extra warrenty. As soon as something goes wrong they will try anything not to honour it. I will never use this company again and would advise people to stay well away.

car developed a fault after 3 months but they refused to fix it unless i pay stating that i only have a 28 day warranty. consumer law states i have 6 months! i would not recommend hpl and would never use them again.

Bought a nearly new car end of May sales side had no problem sales person very professional however as to the after sales been very difficult to contact often emails or phone calls never returned after experiencing problems with the brakes finally got some action not to positive was told to take someone from service department for ride so I did he could see was very little effort in stopping so they took in to work shop 45 minutes of waiting was told can't find anything wrong with carnso won't charge you for looking so later that day went to Peugeot Heswall they were very busy booked up until September but lovely chap from there service department called Barry said sure I'll take the car for drive tell you whats wrong only was gone few minutes came back said brake pedal should not be able to go to the floor its very soft and really HPl needed to sort it as its not something to leave so today car was given a free service from service department at HPl wirral and changed and bleeding of brakes.
Other issues that still waiting on
Is car is well over due software updates that Peugeot have said has been done in house and hopefully sort the other problems with car that's a full electric Peugeot 2008e gt premium going into eco mode even when in a normal driving mode
When does this all functions that are controlled by middle screen go off line and sometimes when you get in can't switch on or will say no key detected I'm still waiting on feed back as I feel its something I shouldn't have to pay out for that if car has under gone a 100 plus point check things like that should of been addressed I bought it up in July car was taken to Peugeot but due to Peugeot having system problems was unable to carry out and was told its really up to me to deal with seeing as Peugeot will charge £200 plus pounds for this as its a long process and due to my health needs I can't be without a car so that why firstly i was happy with when hpl wirral agreed to sort but now it's like that they have forgotten and trying to arrange things taken so long on leaving hpl wirral to was told by sales person I bought car from next time have a problem contact him but that's bit difficult seeing as dont have his contact details as was told week after bought was id get a follow up call over the weeks of going back and forth from my home and hpl wirral was.told sorry your having difficulty getting in touch we have had problems in staffing but this was on going even trying to get information on cars service history was told it'd been serviced and had been yet no.proof written either invoice or Stamp after contacting motoring ombudsman for advice I finely got send two photos of cars service understand that your not allowed to show or give previous drivers details however with todays technology I would of thought they could sort out so will see how brakes perform over this week and hopeful that in HPL reading this review will sort out the outstanding issues that have been raised either in writing delivered by hand email to service and manager and what's app at moment I'm sorry to have to leave a negative impression of Hpl wirral but I'm hopeful will be resolved and maybe negative and be made to a positive I'm grateful that was offered a free service however as I've been told numerous times from hpl wirral it's a nearly new car and we don't have software to deal with car unlike Peugeot so seeing as was.told we will look into the system update two weeks ago. Know Peugeot are busy so will.be interesting how long will.take

Car was great prepared to the highest standards, staff are professional specially Nathan the sales rep who quickly process my car thanks to filip the sale manager for great advice.

This is a -Zero star review......for this company! HPL sold my daughter a vehicle by falsely stating that it had a full service history, setting aside all the issues the vehicle had, we had to personally pay for a Mercedes specialist to review the vehicle and produce a report to HPL for confirmation, this isn't the first vehicle, she originally bought an Audi from them which equally had a list of issues that they didn't repair, they agreed to take the vehicle back, and she then purchased the Mercedes. This has had issues since driving away, along with the false information of a full service history. They yesterday agreed to take the vehicle back, but have now closed the case without getting agreeance from my daughter that she accepts what they propose, so they have not refunded her £2500 deposit and have not refunded the finance payments made, so she is over £4000 out of pocket. I would highly suggest nobody buys a vehicle from this cowboy set up, the staff are rude, and there is no communication from them unless you hound them, not to mention they lie about the vehicle to get the sale!!!! The finance company have already opened an investigation against JHPL, and we are now opening one with The Motor Ombudsman as this is nothing but a disgrace

Sara at Preston branch was so helpful from start to finish of the process Sara listened to our needs and as an older customer helped with documentation and navigating my mobile phone !
