Horrible, parents have always used House of travel for traveling and now that I'm grown up in a country where I know what respect and good customer service is I would say I might never use house of Travel again, My dad called this agent, Nadir or Nadia from Auckland I think her name was, she was Indian and they were speaking to each other but we weren't getting the information we needed , or how to. So I was like give me the phone and I'll explain it to them (there is a slight language barrier) and I was like hi, so I've been looking on the website and I asked if mix and match was a trusted branch under their name since it kept directing me to it and I told her that we just need some help for checking if this flight is actually avaliable please... And she goes... oh my days.... " I CANT DO THIS FOR FREE YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME, " and continued yelling throughout the phone. Never in my life I'd think an agent would think this way, id expect a "hi there!! This Is what I know.... but for booking flights there is a fee. Let me know what you think" would've been way friendlier. Honestly this is just horrible.

My late evening flight from Melbourne back to Auckland was delayed by 2 hours. On arrival at Auckland the luggage pickup was not available for 1and a half hours.
This meant I missed my connecting flight to Palmerston North.
By 10 pm I thought I would be sleeping on the Auckland airport floor and no idea when I would be getting home to Palmerston North. At that point as no information or help had been offered by the Airline I decided to contact
Suzanne at House of Travel as to what I should do (I'm 82 years of age.)
She immediately took charge of my predicament, told me not to worry about a thing and said she would phone me back shortly.
When she did it was to tell me to make my way out of the Airport where I would be picked up and taken to accommodation and in the morning taken back to the Airport to catch my new flight back home that she had arranged. Thank you Suzanne and House of Travel for your help and wonderful service. I cannot recommend you enough.

Poor communication. Are more interested in taking a cut then the safety of their clients. I have no trust in them and will not be using them again.

SCAM. They take your money and don’t respond

The travel insurance House of travel sell is truly terrible.
Had to make a claim after an accident and got terrible customer service and no useful help from Allianz and 4 months after filing my claim, I am still waiting for the claim to be finalized. I will never use House of travel again for anything.

House of Travel in Ellerslie branch, I rang this branch and talked to Caroline, she was very accommodating and told me I can be there at 12noon unlike The Newmarket branch, they made me feel unimportant person and discriminated me. The lady that I talked to even looked at me from head to foot and scaling if I am able to afford their service. She just talked to me just at the door step and didn't allow me to come inside their office. I even told this lady that I spoken to a woman over the phone and informed me that I can come. I showed her my phone and the number that I rang, she agreed that this is their phone number. Unfortunately the Newmarket branch declined to accommodate me at first but after she asked me if I will pay today & how will I pay it, I answered that I will pay thru Eftpos and I will get travel insurance, then she realised I've got money, she told me that I can come back after 30mins. I told her that I will go to their different branch instead. Luckily, I've got Caroline in Ellerslie branch, who was very helpful and was very patient in explaining everything regarding my travel. I hope everyone can be compassionate as Caroline unlike the lady in Newmarket branch. Thanks again for your service. I will definitely recommend the House of Travel "Ellerslie" branch to my colleagus and friends.

Tried for over a week to get a confirmed price of a holiday that was advertised, just gave up, not worth the effort

scammers. false details just to get on top of search results
