Op 21 augustus een Formule 1 modelauto besteld bij House of Modelcars, maar tot op heden nog steeds niks ontvangen.
​In eerste instantie werd er verwezen naar vertraging bij PostNL, maar inmiddels is de bestelling al meer dan een maand onderweg. Er wordt simpelweg niet meer gereageerd op mijn berichten. Erg teleurstellende service; ik raad aan om hier heel voorzichtig mee te zijn als je wat wilt bestellen.

I’ve ordered a Lando helmet and got my package really quickly but instead of the helmet I ordered I got a different one. They immediately send me a return label and said they would get the right one send to me. I sent the wrong helmet back and then I didn’t hear from them for quite a few days. Today ( 3rd August) they messaged me saying the return never arrived but they’ll refund me. The refund is still pending until 12th of August but I’m happy that they finally answered me and that I will get my money back. Would have really liked for them to actually send me the right one because they said they would do so and it was their fault for sending the wrong one. I Really wanted the helmet but I will definitely not risk ordering there again even though we resolved the problem. Customer service could really be better and I hope they’ll work on it.

I am writing this review based strictly on facts to warn other collectors.

I placed order in mid-May. For nearly 2 months, the merchant failed to ship the item and dragged out the process without any clear explanation.

Eventually, I received a notification stating that the package was never physically handed over to the shipping company. When I requested a proper tracking number to get a clear explanation, they suddenly sent me a receipt dated that exact same day.

When I confronted them about why a 2-month-old order had a receipt issued on the very day I complained, they completely ignored my inquiry. Instead of providing an explanation, they chose to unilaterally and abruptly cancel my order without any prior notice or apology.

The most shocking part occurred when I sent a final email protesting their lack of professional business manners and dishonest behavior. Their official customer service email replied directly with a personal insult: "fxxk you idiot".

It is deeply concerning that a registered business uses their official CS channel to deceive customers and curse at them simply because they were asked for accountability. This shop is highly unstable and lacks basic communication skills. I highly recommend buying elsewhere.

I ordered from this company, but they only sent one piece of my order. When I contacted them about the missing item, they spent over a month making excuses, claiming their stock hadn't arrived but promising to resend it.

After being extremely patient and waiting for weeks, I finally requested a refund. The seller explicitly agreed to issue the refund, but after 10 days, no money was processed, and they have completely stopped responding to my emails.

They intentionally dragged out the communication to push the timeline past 30 days, trying to avoid platform buyer protection. Buyer beware—stay away from this company. They do not fulfill orders, they break their promises, and their customer service is non-existent.

Ordered two car models from House of Modelcars (order number 11986136), and contacted the shop to return one of them since unfortunately it had many visible defects. I was given the return address and tracking shows the item was successfully delivered back to them on 25th May. Despite multiple follow-ups, it has been more than 1 month and there is still no communication from shop and I have yet to receive a refund.

Really disappointed, I do not recommend this shop.

Een preorder gedaan in april, deze wordt zonder communicatie geannuleerd terwijl het product nogsteeds te preorderen is.

Telefonisch niet bereikbaar.
Op de mail wordt half gereageerd en als de vragen iets te lastig worden krijg je geen reactie.

In een woord waardeloos.

Bizar slecht te bereiken... Ik probeer al 2 weken in contact te komen met House of modelcars maar krijg via de mail geen reactie en tijdens het bellen krijgt ik al 2 weken een ingesproken tekst dat het druk is en ze op het moment niet kunnen helpen....

I received my order in good condition and very well packaged. It did have a next day delivery promise but I had ordered over the Kings Day weekend (Sat 25th). It was delivered a few days later on Wed 29th. I cant complain as the delay was insignificant.

Model car besteld via bol al op voorhand betaald wat ik ook nooit meer doe was al 3 dagen geleverd maar is bij post nl aangemeld maar is nog niet ontvangen door post nl contact opgenomen met house of model cars maar krijg je antwoord dit gaan we direct uitzoeken voor u maar niets meer wat een service
