Great chair ! Amazing price and super fast delivery.

I have many original / official Eames pieces but didn’t want to spend £8-£10k on an ‘Official’ Eames Lounger. I’ve searched everywhere for a decent tall version with good quality leather and hardware, decent delivery times and as close to the original as possible. This meant clip in cushions which unfortunately this one doesn’t have . The closest I found is from a london base reproduction company but the chair was £2,500 with 6-8 weeks delivery. Anyway, I’ve just put this one together and am sat in now. It’s amazing value for the price and to be honest I would have paid double. I did initially have to wait a couple of days for the invoice but when i did I received daily communication throughout the delivery process which took just over 1 week, I personally would recommend if you’re in the market for a decent reproduction at a great price and quick delivery.

Long Story Short...
•Paid £999.00
•Chased miltiple times for an invoice
•After over a week, i got a confirmation email with tracking details...Dpd(First contact)...
•Tracking details errors
•Confirmation from seller of shipping details...
•Finally, admitted not shipped...

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck...maybe it's a chicken...

I did contact Klarna and they informed me of a period allowance for sellers to make good with their services.

Funny how they eventually contacted me with false shipping details...
As the Klarna's window comes to a close...

**UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO HOUSE OF FURNISHES (19th August 2026):**

It is very telling that your public response cherry-picks the facts to appear legitimate. Let’s look at the complete timeline and the evidence you conveniently left out:

1. The Tracking Authentication Failure: You publicly posted one tracking number (ending ...8792) to claim my order is "in transit," but completely ignored the second tracking number you gave me for the ottoman (ending ...8791). More importantly, if you click the DPD link you just provided and attempt to authenticate the delivery using my home postcode, the DPD system explicitly states: "Authentication data is not correct. The data you have provided is not the same as the data of the parcel." You have deliberately provided tracking numbers for parcels going to a completely different address.

2. The Missing Invoice: I placed this £999 order on the 10th of August. I chased you for a full week as all communication links on your website returned error pages. You only finally made first contact on the 17th of August. To this day, nine days later, you have still failed to provide a basic invoice or proof of sale.

Providing tracking data for a stranger's parcel to artificially extend Klarna's delivery window, while failing to provide a basic receipt for a £1,000 purchase, is exactly why I stand by my review.

All screenshots of the DPD postcode errors, the broken website links, and the timeline of delays are being submitted directly to Klarna for a formal dispute.

We are disappointed that this review has still not been updated, especially now that the order has been successfully delivered and the customer has received the complete chair and ottoman.

We understand that the customer was frustrated during the initial delivery process, and we do not deny that there were delays and concerns. However, we remained in contact throughout the process and responded to the customer's emails whenever we received them. Our customer support team continued to assist until the order was successfully delivered.

We also have the complete DPD shipment records for this order, including the parcel details, tracking history and delivery information. The parcels were sent through DPD, and we have records showing their journey from dispatch through to delivery.

Most importantly, the review was originally posted before the customer had received the product. At that stage, the customer was understandably concerned about the delivery. The situation has since been resolved: the complete order has been delivered, and the customer has received the product.

We have always been willing to address any genuine concerns and provide support wherever possible. In fact, we continued communicating with the customer even after the delivery process became complicated, rather than simply leaving the matter unresolved.

It is therefore disappointing that the review continues to present the situation as though the order was never delivered or the matter was never resolved. That does not reflect the complete timeline of this order.

We respect the customer's right to share their experience, but we also believe that a review should reflect the full customer journey, including the final outcome. In this case, the order was fulfilled and delivered successfully, and our customer support remained available throughout the process.
