it took 11 days for my box to come

it took 11 days for my box to come, about a week for them to dispatch and the rest of royal mail to deliver 48hrs. i believe for a premium service it should be dispatched much quicker and with faster delivery. the box itself had a good selection of beers, though the snacks were crushed. 6 cans came in a box and two were loose in a bigger box, which I thought was odd packaging

Can't fault them

Can't fault them, amazing beers from well known breweries and ones I've never heard of. I honestly look forward to getting my delivery every month.

£34 for 7 beers you can pick up from…

£34 for 7 beers you can pick up from supermarkets. Expected more from a place dealing exclusively in sour beers but it was pilot, Siren and even 1 of the 2 vault city beers you can get from Morrisons. Only exception was the VC IRN BRU sour which isn’t sold anymore

Had a great first sour box with hops…

Had a great first sour box with hops and cans, they've put a nice selection in there. I understand why there would be vault city apparent as they have a massive sour catalog, I'll just have to see if they mix it up more in the future. I've already tried the lime and coconut gose and it wasn't for me as it was too much like a lager but my partner absolutely loved it. It comes with a nice glass in the first order and always with a couple of snacks.

In the box was

Vault city iron brew sour
Vault city tropical twist sour
Vault city rhubarb and custard sour
Brick brewery hedgerow sour
Seven bro7hers currant affairs sour
Goodh brewing save the princess sour
Goodh brewing mangose
Manchester brewing line and coconut gose

Snacks were sausage flavoured crisps and Cornish sea salt baked almonds by serious pig

Very poor product and service

Very poor product and service. Requested a modern sours box which only included one genuine modern sour which was a poor quality one by all means. The remaining box contained 7 low ABV beers, none of which were sours! two packets of crisps and a glass. All beers included were either poor quality or can be purchased in supermarkets for a lower price. Seriously who wants 3% basil flavoured beer? Absolutely hanging. Clearly the people running the company have zero knowledge of craft beer if they can’t tell the difference between a modern sour and a flavoured IPA. Laughable really. I contacted customer service to request some form of gesture of goodwill and they ignored my E-mail. Absolute joke of a company and I only gave one star for the glass included in the box. Seriously save your money and don’t waste your time with these jokers. If you want decent IPA’s/modern sours, then use Brewser.

All the beers in our Sour Box are indeed carefully curated to include a variety of sour beers from some of the best craft breweries in the country. We ensure that our boxes contain a diverse range of flavours and styles within the sour category, including more experimental beers like the basil-flavoured beer you mentioned.

Regarding your communication with us, we did reply to your inquiry and offered a 50% discount on your next box as a gesture of goodwill. We regret if there was any misunderstanding or missed communication, and we always aim to be responsive and accommodating to any concerns our customers may have.

SO impressed!

I have just received my second subscription sours box and am so pleased, I actively looked to wear I could leave a review! The variety is SO good and I'm just super impressed with the quality and general experience considering the price. You guys are nailing it. Thank you!

Slow response and no sign of order

Have paid for a recent order and haven't received it in nearly two weeks. No record of it from the delivery people and haven't heard back at all from Hops and Cans despite emailing twice. Second time asking for a full refund.

This is not true. I have responded to you very promptly both times (within 30 mins) and offered you a full refund. Unfortunately missing boxes happen from time to time with couriers. We have no problem refunding you.
