Nikki was very knowledgable, and I now feel more confident with something i hadn't a clue about before.

Like others, I unwittingly applied for an ABN, thinking the Honcho site (first hit on google) was an official website of ASIC. Have been charged $100 for what is free via the proper ATO site. Deceptive, misleading and unethical. I am appealing/awaiting refund. They make the appeal process deliberately difficult with call transfers and written requirements. Have reported this to the ACCC and will communicate more broadly in socials. Will update on any progress. Update: after raising the issue and numerous follow-ups verbally and in writing my fee was refunded.

I cancelled my business registration 5 minutes after I did it. Was told I would get a refund less admin charge.
Still waiting after numerous emails. This company is a scam and I would recommend never to use it to everybody. Worst company I have ever dealt with

They come across a government department, ASIC, registering your business name or re-registering your business name. I unwittingly re-registered my business name with them thinking I did it through ASIC. They also charge an admin fee & promise to help improve your business for more fees. In my case I haven't run my business for over 20 years but I want to keep the business name so there's no help required. But when I explained my situation to them through several emails they reluctantly agreed to returned my re-registration fee minus their admin fee. I'm sure this would be happening to others. Be Aware!
