The ladies were so quick and efficient and nothing was a bother, all things packed arrived in the same condition they were packed in. The guys were equally as pleasant, friendly and efficient. Everything was unpacked and they had left by the time I got there. Excellent service all round.

I recently moved into my new penthouse and used Holloway Removals for the move. Both properties had quite difficult access, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience.
Rafael and Bruno were outstanding from beginning to end — calm, professional, careful, efficient, and incredibly hardworking throughout a very demanding move. They handled difficult access at both locations with patience and skill, while taking exceptional care with my furniture and belongings the entire time.
I also want to acknowledge Holloway Removals as a company. Their professionalism, communication, reliability, and genuine care throughout the process were exceptional. Moving can be incredibly stressful, but the entire experience felt organised, respectful, and well managed.
I have already been recommending Holloway Removals to others and will absolutely continue to do so with confidence.

All the dealings I have had with the staff have been first class. The enquiries, the booking itself, the consideration of complications of two drop off venues, and the staff who packed up the furniture in two places were all excellent in their delivery.

Avoid Holloway: They break your items and then ghost you.

I am beyond frustrated with the service provided by Holloway. What started with a professional pre-inspection by Calum McDermott, who promised a successful move for a $270 call-out fee, has devolved into a total nightmare.

We are left with:
Property Damage: Our lead removalist, Rehan, photographed our working TV before the move. Post-move, it is dead. Additionally, a rushed bed assembly resulted in the bed collapsing just two days later.

Financial Exploitation: We were overcharged because the job ran past office hours. We were promised a refund for this extra amount, but that promise has been completely ignored.

Zero Accountability: We have spent days chasing a resolution. Every time we call, we are told a "ticket has been raised," yet we receive no emails, no calls, and no progress.

We aren't interested in blaming the individuals on the day—accidents happen. However, the post-service resolution is non-existent. Holloway has taken our money, broken our furniture, and is now effectively ghosting us. This is unprofessional, dishonest, and has caused us immense anxiety.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR BELONGINGS.

Punctual, hard-working and efficient team were pleasant to deal with and got the job done carefully. Will def use again.

The removal team were prompt in their arrival and packed our belongings into their van with efficiency and care. The Baldino team were also just as good with the delivery and we particularly appreciated their efforts in delivering, without fuss, our upright piano to the new third floor apartment (without the aid of a lift). The guys were friendly and courteous, and I wouldn't hesitate to use the company again.

We had a fantastic experience with Holloway for our recent move. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and smoothly.

Martyn, who provided the quote, was clear, responsive, and very helpful in explaining the process. Special thanks to Maria, Ananda, Emylin, and Isadora they were absolutely amazing. They worked efficiently, were incredibly organised, and took great care with all our belongings. The packing and unpacking were done to a very high standard, which made the whole move much less stressful for us.

The team was friendly, respectful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up properly in our new home.

Best decision we made. Received a 40ft shipping container into the yard at the Wolli Creek Warehouse, and the process of unloading and storing was seamless. The warehouse staff in particular were super helpful, especially John and Emmanuel, and the team are always cheery and helpful with any little challenge that pops up. We found the simple ease of access to support equipment, pallets jacks, trolleys, dollies and forklift were the game changer. Will definitely deliver our next shipment to Holloways for our storage needs.

Moving with Holloway Removals was stressful and expensive. They charged $189/hour, and it took 7.5 hours to move our two-bedroom apartment just three blocks away.

The movers themselves were polite, punctual, and careful, but the pace was painfully slow. When I raised this with the operations manager, he blamed “walking from the loading dock to the apartment” for the long time to load the truck and said he even had a video of the walk—which he said was around 1.5 minutes. He insisted the job was done “right and within standard time” and implied the building conditions were not standard—what?? This is practically the norm for every fairly new building in Sydney with a loading dock.

At the final property, my husband had to help with unloading, which took 2.5 hours of the total 7.5 hours. Without his help, the bill would have been even higher.

If you are considering Holloway Removals, be aware that the hourly charging model can make the move quite expensive if the pace is slow. Larger companies like Allied usually provide clear upfront estimates of time and cost, which can help avoid surprises.

Very disappointing. Don't be me, don't hire Holloway.
Whilst the move was relatively painless and professional, they failed to safely move my washing machine, causing damage. Upon reporting this to them, they have insisted the damage was not caused by them (yet the machine worked before they moved it), and I'm out of pocket an additional $1269. They also plugged in my fridge immediately (which you're not meant to do) and it's started groaning (but I can live with that).
You hire a moving company for whitegoods and furniture that you can't fit in your car. If they can't move them without damaging them, then why are you paying them? If they won't make amends when they cause that damage, why bother hiring a bigger company that has insurance?
Be smart and don't hire Holloway. If there's a problem with their service you will be left having to replace the precious items you are paying for them to safely transport.

We had an absolutely appalling experience with Holloway Removals & Storage and I would strongly warn against anyone considering using them. Based on the other reviews on this platform, our experience does not appear to be unique.
During our move from the eastern beaches in Sydney to Queensland, the Holloway team’s negligence resulted in significant damage and loss to our belongings.
For example: The back of our three-month-old electric nursing chair (worth over $1,100) was left on the street in Sydney. This was not discovered until our belongings were being unpacked in Queensland.
A wool rug worth over $1,200 was completely destroyed due to improper packing.
A lamp set costing more than $900 was dropped and shattered.
In addition, our fridge was damaged, along with other items from our home.
This damage was the direct result of astonishingly poor handling and a complete lack of professional care.
Holloway has taken zero responsibility or accountability for what occurred. Throughout our dealings with them, the customer service representative has been dismissive and, at times, borderline aggressive in their handling of our claim. There has been no genuine contrition, no meaningful apology, and no indication that they accept the seriousness of the damage caused. The standard of customer service we have received has been absolutely appalling.
After weeks of emails, Holloway finally allowed us to submit a claim for the damage caused to our belongings. However, after submitting a claim for losses exceeding $5,000 (which was supported by photographs and purchase receipts), they responded with a total offer of just $656.81, relying on a so-called “depreciation” calculation.
They have attempted to characterise the destruction of multiple high-value items as “minor damage” (even though some of our belongings were left in Sydney or destroyed).
What is particularly concerning is that their response also included a request suggesting we consider revisiting or removing any negative reviews if we felt they had treated us fairly. To suggest that this offer represents “fair treatment” is actually offensive.
In good faith, we had deliberately held off posting any review while this claim was being assessed, expecting that we would be reasonably compensated for our loss. That expectation has clearly not been met. The combination of negligent handling of our belongings and an equally dismissive, unaccountable response afterward speaks volumes about this company’s standards.
We have rejected their offer and are now proceeding with formal complaints through the appropriate channels.
If you value your possessions — or even basic professionalism — I would strongly caution against trusting Holloway with your move. The risk is simply not worth it.

Holloway packers were superb. The two ladies were very pleasant, efficient, thorough and careful in their work.
Holloway removalists were excellent. The two men handled the collection of the boxes faultlessly. They were cheerful and courteous.
I thoroughly recommend Holloway, having had an excellent experience this time as I did seven years ago.

I recently used Holloway for my move after being recommended by a friend who had used them twice before.

The service was nothing short of stellar. The office team made the booking process seamless and addressed all my concerns (shout out to Florence), and the moving crew were professional, courteous, and efficient (shout out to Bruno and Mizail).

I’d definitely recommend them for all your moving needs.

Our removalists were great, prompt and professional in spite of heavy furniture and 2 flights of stairs

Overall it was good to use them. Initially materials delivery and packing team were a bit late from the agreed time, but after I alerted the team they came through during the actual move.

The material (boxes, wrapping paper etc) is great quality, the packers were very careful with our things and labelled well, and the removalists we had Leo and Luis were very professional and planned the load and unload very carefully and well.

They worked 11 hours on the day and were never frustrated or bothered - and managed to finish the job very well.

Highly recommend, their price is a bit high but for what you’re getting (peace of mind) it was worth it.

Our move was made easier by Holloway and the two removalists Victor and Michael.
