Where is my order from 18th May?

I ordered various items, including cheese and chocolate on the 18th May, and still have not received my order, totalling 74 Euros. I have emailed this company three times, but have had no reply. Using my tracking number, it required a 'secret code' which I never received. I tried to phone them, but the number is invalid. Have I been scammed? Order number is 8TPT013113 and I live in Scotland. Can anyone help, please?

Ignored Order Correction Request, Shipped to Wrong Address, Half My $500 Baby Formula Still Missing, and I'm Being Ignored

UPDATE: Michel claims the address on the order was not possible to change after it was shipped. He does not mention I made this request immediately after placing the order. And of course, he does not address the lack of communication at all. Michel, if you were only as responsive over email as your are on TrustPilot, we would never have had this issue to begin with.

I ordered 12 containers of baby formula from Holland For You for our newborn, nearly a $500 purchase. What followed was a reminder that their website appears to be stuck somewhere in the early 2000s, and unfortunately, their customer service seems to have stayed there too.

Years ago, I ordered from them for our first child when we lived at a different address. Their checkout process, which feels like it hasn’t been updated in decades, did offer to edit my shipping address, but it was unclear at what stage. I expected the next step to provide an opportunity to edit my address, but somehow, the order finalized before I had any chance to correct it.

Immediately, I looked for a way to cancel or edit the order. The dinosaur of a website provides no such option. Within minutes, I emailed them explaining that the address was outdated and urgently needed to be changed and I provided the correct address. Silence. I followed up again asking for confirmation. More silence. Only after the packages were already shipped did Michel respond, informing me the order had been sent, in two parcels according to Michel, to the exact wrong address I had tried to correct immediately. When I reminded him of my emails, he said he had no choice because they are required by PayPal to ship to the PayPal address. So common sense would be to offer an order cancellation. But apparently no such sense exists at HollandForYou. They were under no obligation to fulfill the order to the wrong address. Michel then had the audacity to claim I never sent the correction email even though we had all the while been messaging on the same email chain as my original request to edit the order. Fortunately for reality, screenshots exist. After providing proof that I did in fact send those emails, Michel permanently stopped responding to this day. He ghosted me completely. It has been 47 days since Michel has last responded to me, and I've sent 5 emails over this time.

I then had to awkwardly contact the current resident of my old address to intercept packages of baby formula meant for my newborn. Thankfully, they were kinder and more responsive than the company I paid. One of the two parcels made it to that address which they then forwarded to me. The second parcel has seemingly vanished. I’ve sent multiple emails over the past week asking for help, tracking, anything at all. Deliberate silence once again.

I live in the United States, and because Holland For You ignored an immediate correction request and failed to communicate, half of my nearly $500 order is missing. It has now been over 50 days, and I still do not have 6 of the 12 containers of baby formula I paid for.

This wasn’t some luxury item. It was baby food and now my daughter is running out of formula and I'm forced to buy a different brand which is NOT recommended by pediatricians. Watching a company mishandle something so incredibly basic, and then disappear, would almost be funny if it weren’t so expensive and stressful.

Customers deserve responsive communication, and accountability. HollandForYou delivered none of those. And apparently, I'm hardly the only one considering the other reviews I'm seeing here. I wish I checked HollandForYou on TrustPilot before I placed that order. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.

We shipped the parcel according to the given delivery address also confirmed by PayPal, changing address after sending was not possible.

Site malhonnête

Des voleurs. Ma commande est arrivée incomplète. J'ai demandé le remboursement des articles manquants car je ne voulais pas de coupons pour une prochaine commande puisque je ne voulais pas commander de nouveau. On m'a dit ok, mais aucun remboursement ne m'est parvenu. C'est pas faute d'avoir relancé. Ils font les morts et ne répondent plus.
Ce sont des voleurs, des gens malhonnêtes. A éviter. Je ne recommande pas ce site.

Substituted item to inferior product….

This is my first experience with Holland for you and I will never use again.

Delivery was later than promised so missed the date needed.

13 of the 14 items had been substituted to an significantly inferior product with no explanation or compensation.

No contact details available to speak to anyone about the error.

Will never ever use again.

Unfortunately, the Droste chocolate letters were no longer available at the time we processed your order. As stated on our website, in such cases we select suitable alternative letters and substitute any unavailable chocolate brands with comparable products. We hand-picked the appropriate letters for you and your family and shipped the order as quickly as possible.
We believe this approach ensures you still receive a complete and enjoyable product. It is therefore unfair to leave a negative review on this basis.

Sterk aanbevolen!

Ik had geweldige ervaring met dit bedrijf.

Uitstekende communicatie. Ik kreeg een paar items van verschillende verkopers en Hollandforyou hield me op de hoogte elke keer dat ze mijn artikel kregen. Een artikel werd niet afgeleverd bij het bedrijf en stond op het postkantoor (weet niet waarom) en de eigenaar van Hollandforyou had geen probleem om het op te halen bij het postkantoor. We kozen de dag voor verzending, het trackingnummer werd verstrekt en binnen 10 dagen kreeg ik mijn pakket. En ik vertrek in de VS. WAUW!

De verpakking en verpakking was boven en buiten. Ze stoppen extra noppenfolie en papieren doosvellen erin om items (puzzels) te beschermen tegen deuken.

Kom ik terug naar dit bedrijf? Absoluut, 100% ja.

I had great experience with this company.
Excellent communication. I got few items from different sellers and Hollandforyou kept me posted every time they got my item. One item wasn’t delivered to the company and was sitting at the post office (don’t know why) and the owner of Hollandforyou had no problem to pick it up from the post office. We picked the day for shipping, tracking number was provided and in 10 days I got my package. And I leave in the USA. WOW!

The wrapping and packaging was above and beyond. They put extra bubble wrap and paper box sheets inside to protect items (puzzles) from denting.
Will I come back to this company? Absolutely, 100% yes.
Service A+++
I highly recommend this company.

Habe eine Bestellung aufgegeben,
weder eine Bestellbetätigung noch sonstwas bekommen, nach einer Woche und erfolglosem Kontaktversuch per email hab ich den paypal Käuferschutz dazwischengeschaltet..
Nicht zu empfehlen der Anbieter

Do not use this service

Do not use this service. There are others who are much better. Holland for You does not reply promptly to queries, has not telephone numbers and in my case short delivered on one product and over delivered on a (cheaper) other product. This is new as previosly I was a loyal, content customer

Parcel not delivered

I ordered Rookworst. Payed using PayPal. The parcel was never delivered though USPS claims it was. I was unable to file a complaint with USPS as Hollandforyou apparently used a different address than the one in my PayPal profile. I started a case with PayPal. Answered the questions from Hollandforyou but the case was simply closed and I lost out. Stay away from this company AND PayPal.

Leider 0 Punkte. Mir wurde Ware verkauft, die gar nicht mehr auf Lager und auch nicht mehr bestellbar war. Jetzt warte ich seit Wochen auf die Rücküberweisung meines Geldes. Ich kann diesen Anbieter nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ik raad het ten zeerste aan

Super service, ik heb een doorverzending van intertoys.nl naar Frankrijk gekocht. Het pakket werd in de vroege namiddag ontvangen door Hollandforyou en 's avonds was het pakket al opnieuw verzonden. Ik ben van plan om hun service dit weekend opnieuw te gebruiken.

No delivery, no answer, hands off!

I never received the ordered product... :-( Also after asking back via email I never got any answer. So the money is gone, and all in vain. Hands off!!!

Great customer service and fast delivery

I live in France and I order frequently a decent size shipment. I have always receive the order within 7 days. I once had a minor issue that I received a smaller quantity item instead of the bigger quantity item and I contacted Michel by phone and he kindly solved the issue the same day without any problem. I highly recommend this service. The products arrived in tip top shape. No damage. I am happy customer and I will definitely order again from them.

Considerable damage to most articles (apart from the heat conditions in OZ). No return comment was received what is very disappointing especially when you claim being a top notch company. What attitude in the reply. Further do not accept "substitutes" that you did not ask for. They are useless. No other comments and no more orders. Have tried the German based Holland for you and received goods in 6 days. Lot better

Recarding this case, you ordered at 5 december 2021 we shipped your order at the 6 of december 2021 (within 24 hours great service) The selected shipping method ( regular post can take some time, especially in december and in these corona times) So Your parcel arrived on the 5 th of January. ( tracking code CA401718553NL)
Its now the 5 th of march 2022 (2 months after you received the parcel) and you decide to give us a 2 star review, stating that there was a damaged parcel, ..Thank you for your review have a nice day!

Service is slow but existent

I placed an order on August 28th 2021 and did not receive a confirmation email and could not find anyway to contact the store. So after i wrote a bad review on here, the store (info @hollandforyou.com) emailed me to address my issues. I was promptly sent an email with an order confirmation and tracking info for my package. 9 days later my package arrived in my mailbox. I live in the U.S.A by the way. The product arrived in great condition and wasn't spoiled. Although I got what I paid for, the fact that i had to complain about the company in order to get in touch with somebody is a big issue. If they can fix this by putting the company's info on the website, they'd be much better off. Until then, use the email i included to contact them, don't use spaces.

Sometimes it takes a bit longer to arrive, We packed the chocomilk firmly! Our tip: please check parcel before accepting it by your local post. sorry for the delay hopefully it arrives soon to you

Holland for you

Hi all,
I am in New Zealand and ordered coffee creamer on this site and some other stuff for my tummy 😁
Any way I received the ordr after 8 days so that is in the time frame of the website.
Goods where we'll pakaged and just enjoyed my first coffee with creamer instead of milk if I can give a negative that when I placed the order I didn't receive a tracking number however after emailing them and asking in Dutch if the orde was dispatched they replied promptly and with a tracking number turned out it was just arrived in the country.

-On Thursday 12 of november we send the parcel to your delivery address. (see tracking link)
-You received an email from us with tracking information for you to check.
-Today we receive an angry review via trustpilot. Thank you!!

Poor Shipping, no communication. DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!

If you're buying from this merchant to ship overseas...don't. We purchased $130 Euros worth of food from this merchant as we were unable to follow through on travel plans during the Covid crisis. It's a pity we didn't come here and read other peoples' experiences first! Basically, this merchant hasn't learnt from the bad reviews and we suffered the same fate of many. The products were shipped badly without proper protection and padding for food and by the time they reached us in Australia, the box was half torn open and the food inside had spoiled and melted. We contacted the merchant to ask for replacements to be sent or to have a refend (we included pictures of the box and the food), but we received no reply even after three emails. It was only when we undertook a Customer Resolution Complaint via Paypal that suddenly the merchant reached out and said he would refund the costs...of shipping. Yep, a 30 Euro refund for $130 Euros worth of damaged goods. Appalling customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

Additionally, we contacted the manufacturers of the product we purchased and THEY offered a refund and told us that this Merchant shouldn't be selling these items as a third-party anyway. Interesting to see the items we bought from this merchant have now been REMOVED from his website!

Excellent customer service! Would recommend!

We ordered our favourite Dutch food from this shop. They have a great selection and exactly what we love. Obviously, due to the current pandemic, there was a slight delay in receiving our package, that was to be expected. However, emails were sent back and forth and there was continuous communication and reassurance from their side. I have to admit that I was sceptical after reading some of the reviews here, and i was worried that i would not receive our delivery. But I can honestly say that I had a great experience with the shop and will definitely be ordering from here again.
