VERY poor quality, made in China.

I'd give a minus star if I could. Very poor quality 99% polyester made in China gown purchased for $400 for my daughter. VERY disappointed! Exploitative, misleading website/ shop. Doesn't say the fabrics or where they're made. AND, their returns policy is simply illegal. Hello consumer affairs!

I purchased the ALESSIA MAXI DRESS |…

I purchased the ALESSIA MAXI DRESS | BLACK POLKA from HNTR The Label expecting premium quality due to the very high price point and the way the brand presents itself as a luxury/high-end label. Unfortunately, after wearing the dress once for a short event and treating it with extreme care, the fabric developed discoloration and damage across multiple areas of the dress, making it completely unwearable.
What has made this experience even worse is the shocking customer service and the way the company has handled the situation.
I contacted HNTR immediately within the return timeframe and provided detailed photos, yet every response took an unreasonably long time.
It genuinely feels like the company has been deliberately dragging out the refund process instead of taking responsibility for the poor quality of the product.
Despite weeks of emails, repeated follow-ups, and finally submitting a formal return request, I still have not received my refund. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, I was repeatedly offered partial refunds and store credit for a product that was clearly faulty after one careful wear.
For a brand advertising itself as premium, this level of quality and customer service is completely unacceptable.
Customers should not have to fight for weeks to receive a proper resolution for a defective item. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.

BEWARE that this company has an…

BEWARE that this company has an EXCHANGE ONLY return policy meaning if a dress doesn’t fit or is not liked then you will not get a refund, only a store credit for the full amount. Customer service is very strict on this policy and will only refund for glaring defects.

Also do not purchase the HUGO GOWN unless you want to tuck the back of the dress INSIDE. Several pictures show the back draping backwards in a U shape; or ruffled with the inside exposed but this will expose the large white tag (which the website photo angle conceals) and it cannot be worn like that. There are no dress reviews on their website to learn from others’ experiences.

The dresses are expensive so make your choices wisely and be willing to eat the cost of any order you place no matter what you think of the dress. DO NOT order multiple dresses in an attempt to find one that fits! They ruthlessly abide by their exchange only policy.

During the checkout process you must check a box that you understand the return policy before placing the order. This statement does not look like a hyperlink to read the policy even though it is; there is no blue underline. So it appears as though you would need to exit the checkout process to actually find and review it. For me this regretfully caused me not to read it.

It was very stressful knowing that the dress money could not be refunded. Ultimately and thankfully my daughter did find a dress she really loved on the second order. But this also was a risk because exchanges are final as I understand it. Also the new dress was slightly less expensive and there was no item ~$25 in value to purchase so I doubt I will ever use that credit for anything else.

If I could rate HNTR The Label company any lower, I would!

If I could rate this company any lower than a one star, I would! HNTR The Label is a horrible company. First, they said they delivered my daughter's prom dress. Then they said they never shipped it. I emailed them 10 times but they would not respond to my pleas for help until I threatened to open a fraud claim against them. Now, they are saying that if I lift the fraud claim, then they will naturally pay me my full refund. I do not trust this company. They do not care for their customers. It has been a nightmare waiting for the dress, waiting for them to reply to my emails...never will I purchase anything from this company again. Buyer beware, this company is a fraud.

Bought the Isabell dress for my 20th…

Bought the Isabell dress for my 20th birthday. The dress is was horrible quality. The seams were fraying the dress is see through and so unflattering and one of the straps on the bottom of the dress broke before I even wore it. I am so disappointed that I spent 250 dollars and a poorly made dress. It’s a waste of money. Update: I’ve been going back and forth with the brand to refund my dress they then gave me 1 day to get everything organised, I emailed back to explain that I was left with a faulty product and giving me one day is unreasonable. The brand have now been ignoring my emails. I’m so embarrassed that this brand think it’s ok to scam people with how expensive there trashy products are.

Poor quality

I spent all my savings to buy a GAIA gown wine for my year 10 formal. I had a very disappointing experience wearing it.

In the middle of the formal, the strap suddenly broke. I was so embarrassed and disappointed. It’s my first ever social, and I didn’t expect such an expensive dress to break after only one wear.

When I contacted the customer service, they suggested me to get it repaired. I never expected that I spent $400 on a dress that broke after just one wear.

do not spend a cent with this company!

Awful product and horrid customer service. Purchased a $300 set to realise the quality was horrendous, washed it once in a delicate bag and the stitching come undone, the entire thing piled. I contact customer service saying I washed it as instructed (cold, gentle machine wash) and even took extra precaution, and they came back saying I can’t return it because it’s been washed… you’d think for $300 they’d spend a lil extra to put on their care label that this single layered piece of polyester needs to be dry cleaned. But probably not because they know the quality is horrible, which is why they don’t offer refunds! and make returns the customers monetary responsibility. Ontop of that, their customer service were condescending, were ignoring my emails, and aren’t even aware of ACCC or fair trading regulations. I owned the set for less than a week. Do not spend any money with this company, they’re horrible in business and have terrible product. You’ll be disappointed opening the parcel, and it will be a long nightmare and battle for any type of resolution or even a response from them

My daughter brought a dress for her 18th and when delivered after 2 weeks she tried it on and the mattererial was tackie and u could see through everything..After paying $300 what a waat of time and money ...Will be sending and hopefully get refund

Not worth it at all

Spent $430 on a ball dress to which they then charged and extra $40 for shipping. Stated it would take 3-4 business days, then printing the shipping label MUCH too small meaning it was unable to be shipped without me constantly chasing up. After finally shipping 2 weeks later, the day before my ball (I had to pick it up from the depot myself), I found the cheapest quality of silk/satin known to man. For half a thousand dollars I would expect good quality. But no. It literally felt the exact same as my shein silk pillow case. The photo on the website says the model is 170cm for a size S and the dress goes down to the floor. Im the exact same height and build yet it was cut just above my ankle. Hugs the tummy and very unflattering. Delivered one day before ball so could make no alterations. Dont order from this website!!!! Shein even has better customer service. It feels like some lazy 17 year old runs this website from her bedroom. Only replies to instagram or tiktok comments. So unprofessional.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Do not waste your money on this brand. They say delivery is 2-3 business days but after 2 weeks of chasing up my order and no contact from customer service, I had to comment on one of their frequent instagram posts to even get a response back to which they replied they didn’t check their junk emails. The item arrived way too late for me event to which they offered me a store credit ? I requested a refund for the lack of response to which I was told no. They then accepted my return request where I ticket full refund and STILL sent me an email with a store credit. The set I received was very cheap material, made in China, do not waste your money here!!!!!

DO NOT ORDER!

I ordered an item over a month ago. I had sent multiple emails in between to receive a reply 2 weeks later saying they were "unsure" of how they missed it. They then told me they had shipped the item. My item was set to arrive yesterday, I went to the post office today only for them to tell me it has never been entered into the system & has in fact not been shipped. All while still not getting any replies from the company. Absolutely ridiculous for an item I paid $450 for. DO NOT BUY!

I wish I read the reviews before my…

I wish I read the reviews before my daughter ordered this cheap dress.
It arrived late (after her formal dance) and with a broken zipper.
The customer service is horrible and they don’t have a phone number.
They were nasty and gave me such a hard time.
I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before I ordered it so I hope this helps somebody else. Do not buy from this company.

Retract, actually turned out excellent

Fortunately for us the experience that started bad actually bore excellent results in the end, so I am happy to apologise.

The dress arrived in time and I have to say the quality was superb. Really classy two piece.

I find it difficult to understand some…

I find it difficult to understand some of the negative reviews about HNTR the Label, as it is truly my favourite brand. It seems that when customers don't get the outcome they expect or fail to read the policies before checking out, they resort to leaving unfavourable feedback and claiming that "customer service is bad." In my experience, I have ordered from them multiple times and have consistently received exceptional customer service. The team is incredibly helpful, and the quality of their products is amazing. I highly recommend HNTR the Label!

We bought 2 dresses from this company and the quality is atrocious
Extremely poor quality
Sizing was out and they both did not fit
I wish that I read the reviews before purchasing as it seems that a lot of clients have experienced exactly the same quality and service
I was told my dresses would be sent within 3 working days and we finally received our garments after 3 weeks
No refunds only store credit
We are still $440 credit after 8 months as we cannot find anything we like

don’t bother buying

pre ordered a dress and they changed the dispatch date 4 times within just two weeks, finally got my dress and the sizing guide is way off, the material is horrible and it looks very cheaply made

hi so these dresses are made in china. when i got the package i didn’t even realize it was the dress(it finally came after 3 months) and the packaging was very dry bad. The bag said it was made in china as well as the label. this brands a scam
