This has been a terrible experience from start to finish. Beginning with the owner telling me lies about a supposed letter from my ex-wife's legal team. They also could not achieve the money that the property is worth and rather than acting as an agent were more aligned with the potential buyers. They also advised selling for less than a neighbouring property. Eventually having had enough had the property valued by 2 other agents both who informed me that they could easily achieve £15,000 more. When I then pulled the property from them they spoke to my ex-wife's legal team lying stating that I was offered £10,000 more and also that the property wasn't being maintained. Avoid like the plague. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

First of all, from start to finish, we had a total of 35 viewers through the property, which you showed through yourself. Out of those 35 viewers, we registered 6 offers on the property – all of which were lower than your ‘bottom line’, and unfortunately on this occasion and despite our best efforts all potential buyers refused to increase their offers, believing that their offer was a ‘fair and reflective’ price for the house. As our client, our interests lie solely with achieving the best price for your home, your house was marketed no different than any other instruction, with all feedback collected and passed to you and your estranged wife, making you both aware of the viewers initial impressions of the property. In terms of your last comment referring that HMK Property contacted your ex-wife’s solicitor and claiming that an offer of £10,000 was registered is just not true nor was any comment made regarding the current condition of the property. We would be grateful if you could contact the office and explain where you heard this information. On a more positive note, I hope your new agent has more success achieving a price more in line to your expectations and the very best of luck with your onward move!
