Obtaining a mortgage in Spain as a foreigner is not that easy without proper guidance and support. We found in Hipoteken a reliable partner in securing a mortgage for our holiday home by comparing offers from several providers. We got accurate and pro-active support from Philip and Luis, who both guided us through the processes of gathering the required documentation and background information. With their patience and research, we managed to get an interesting offer and we succeeded in signing the contract last week!

Advice you can trust. We contacted Hipoteken to get an idea of how feasible was to get a mortgage in Spain and since day 1 they were truly helpful and honest. We found our dream holiday home and the rest was dealt with by Hipoteken, specially Daniel and Luis. Huge thanks for making every step of the process so easy, we knew we were in good hands. I made use of Hipoteken International Mortgages in 2023 to handle my family’s transition from the Netherlands to Spain. As a self-employed non-resident, buying a home was more complicated. Philip from Hipoteken found solutions to our problems and made the purchase possible. The team speak multiple languages, so there was never any need for me to translate any of my documents. They also have professional experience with the major banks, so they were able to streamline the process of obtaining approval for a mortgage. Everyone I dealt with was calm and courteous at all times. We couldn’t have moved without them!

The team at Hipoteken made the process of securing a mortgage in Spain much simpler than had we tried to do it independently. They demonstrated great patience and understanding dealing with us when we knew so little of the process and had to be guided through every step in great detail. Their knowledge, their approach, and their support was invaluable. I simply cannot thank the team enough, particularly Daniel Morante and Luis Boris Grateron. I cannot express in words the respect and gratitude I have for these people. The professionalism, the human approach, the patience and the attention to detail are at the top.
The processes that they have are easy to follow and they explain every step meticulously and with no interpretation.
I worked with Luis and Daniel, chapeau bas, these guys work hard and at the highest service level possible. Their English is perfect, they speak Spanish as well. They been available for each call I requested and so pro-active in emailing me back whenever I was in doubt.
5 stars is too low to express their services, unfortunately this is the maximum I can give here.

I am so glad I found them on the internet as I have tried it with another company and that was not a success. They guide you true the whole process. They unitially can tell you within a few days if your applicable or not. Then when your applicable they will start the proces and it cost nothing until you sign at the Notary the mortgage. Even the Notary was surprised by the mortgage they found as the bank took al the cost and I have no penalties for early repayment up to 100%. So, Daniel and Luis, you are my heroes and thank you once again for all the communication and the step by step guidance.
I would recommend them to everyone and I am sure they will not disappoint you.
