Worth a visit regardless – just to have coffee & cake in their excellent, spotless, café. Good gift shop as well.

Soaps are amazing had them delivered to work address and my colleagues loved them will make a lovely gift for my Scottish mum, thank you brilliant service too

Delighted with the lavender soaps I purchased and the tips that were given to help prolong the soap at its best .I have already purchased more products and will certainly be buying more in future .

I have used the various hand washes for a number of years. Really good quality and lovely scents. I don’t have a shop near me but I stock up when I see a shop on day trips and holidays. On this occasion I purchased the Lemongrass & Ginger hand wash and the large refill on line. This is a for a birthday present and I wasn’t going to be near one of the shops. When my order arrived the pump on the bottle had snapped off. I called the company and they said they would send a replacement. Not once did they say it’s only the pump you are getting. Once I heard I was getting a replacement I poured the contents of the damaged bottle into my own bottle. Pump only arrives and now I’m in a position where I have this big refill bottle and no smaller bottle to fill. I now have to re think my birthday present or buy another smaller bottle. I was offered 10% discount on an on line order but would have to pay postage as the order would be under £40. Surely in the spirit of good customer service a replacement bottle should be sent. This is the last time I will purchase anything from this company. They have lost a customer although I’m not sure they will be bothered

I bought the first bar of soap (raspberry and cranachan) from.a garden centre, smells great and unlikel other more marketed brands, the scent lasts. I shower daily and a bar lasts typically 7-8 weeks which is way more than I expected, and makes the £7 per bar worth it in my opinion. Also had whiskey and honey, plus orange and cinnamon, all excellent, cant see me going anywhere else for my soaps. Haven't tried any ither products to comment.

The soaps have nice scent and good organic ingredients. However it's disappointing that in their 3 for £16 offer, you have to buy 3 soaps with the same scent. It's rather off putting that I can't pick & mix.
If I want to buy different scents it works out far more pricey with the postage on top. I'm thinking of going elsewhere.

I have had issues with dry skin on my hands for years, nothing helped (even prescription creams), however, I was lucky enough to visit the Highland Soap Company store in St Andrews where a lovely lady greeted me and my dog Hamish, (yes the shop is very dog friendly, bonus!) she recommended the handwash and hand/body lotion. There are so many wonderful options re perfume wise, I chose the wild Scottish wild raspberry handwash and the hand and body lotion. Within 2 days the dry skin on my hands and arms has started to clear, I am on day 4 and they look wonderful. I can't thank the lady in the store enough for her help, advice, and support. I will definitely be back and have no hesitation in recommending Highland Soap Company's products. I have also placed an order online so I can continue to use the soap at my work.

I have now messaged the company several times to get help with an issue with their shampoo and conditioner. I have had no reply at all and worse, haven't even been able to unsubscribe from all the spam email they keep sending, as the unsubscribe button doesn't work - which i have also reported, no reply. Even the 'click here to opt out of mothers day emails' button failed - it took me to a page of mothers day gifts which is grossly insensitive given why most people would likely choose to opt out. I love supporting uk businesses offering uk sourced and made products. This has been horrendous. I've never, ever left a trustpilot review or negative google review before - just because a product isn't right for me, doesn't mean it won't be right for someone else. But the customer service - or complete lack of - is totally inexcusable. Really disappointed.

Really expensive for the size they send. They make the products look much bigger on the website and end up with relatively small bottles for the price. They hide the size within the listing and don’t make it so clear which means you see how small their products really are once they arrive.

It’s their way of giving the smallest amount of product and charging the most.

For the offers they don’t allow mix and match either so you end up paying through the nose for next to no product and didn’t get to try different variety of same product. I really don’t understand that because it limits their customer experience of the product.

Received an order some time back but these lovely soaps last for ages: I use the bog myrtle upstairs and lavender at the kitchen sink but still not through the first bars yet after several months - I did cut them into three slices per bar for smaller hands and they lather very well. Repeat orders won't be that often - I've had other good quality soaps from elsewhere that don't last long but when I do eventually run out it'll be from here as I've experienced nothing to match these; great fragrance as well.

customer service very poor, did not bother to resolve my issue, just replied with some waffle

nice as the products are from here, I recently had an issue with one of them. Customer service basically just said "tough luck"

I've been a fan of the Wild Raspberry body lotion and cream for a few years now, as it smells gorgeous. I expanded my purchases to the lemongrass body lotion after finding it in a garden centre. I was really impressed, as it smelt lovely, although the fragrance didn't last beyond a few minutes.

I don't live in Scotland and sadly there are only a couple of stockists in my area, who (when asked) weren't interested in stocking my favourites, as they didn't think it worthwhile for just one customer. So this (and the high cost) means that I can only indulge for my birthday or Christmas.

Thinking that the lemongrass range was worth exploring, I asked for lemongrass body wash for Christmas (2024), but here was my first disappointment. The lemongrass body wash didn't have the same fragrance as the body lotion and was actually quite unpleasant. It also didn't lather very well and had an almost oily residue, which I didn't like.

Sorry Highland Soap, I'll stick to the body lotion and cream.

Beautiful Products , I ordered Wild Scottish Raspberry Hand Cream and matching Body Lotion ( having already tried the Raspberry Shampoo Bar ). The smell of the Wild Scottish is delightful not over powering .
Delivery was really quick . I am absolutely delighted with the products and the sample will definitely re order from them again.

This company is one of Scotland’s hidden gems. Having visited a highland whiskey tour my partner fell in love with the Whiskey & Honey hand sanitizer which sadly was no longer available. I emailed the company to ask if they could help and they came back to me to say the item was being discontinued but they had a limited stock left which I was then able to purchase. The order arrived and I was delighted but sadly one of the bottles had a broken top. I again contacted the company and with in a few days I received a replacement pump top. There products are top quality and their customer service is outstanding, both friendly and helpful 😊
