The high and dry is perfect for our drying needs, we didn’t want a fixed line on our new patio, we wanted to follow the sun and for multiple loads to dry at one time, and we can do all of that with our new high and dry. It folds up neatly and can be tucked away when not needed. Customer service has been above and beyond with my query, thank you.

Great company to deal with. Had to contact customer services a couple of times but Catherine had me sorted in no time. Great washing line. Took a couple of hours to assemble but instructions were easy to follow.

What a great company. It was delivered super fast, but due to weather I was unable to put it together until now. Unfortunately we had a bolt missing. The communication was amazing. Super quick response from Catherine and everything was sorted in no time. The bolt was with me in 2 days and I have washing on it today.
Would highly recommend and it’s a great purchase.

Really quick delivery. Assembled easily following instructions. Not able to have a line in garden due to limited space and sloping garden. This sits folded on patio and comes out when required. Easy to move around. Stayed upright in very windy weather. Highly recommend this product.

Amazing! Great communication with the business on Instagram messenger before and after we made our purchase. Our clothes line arrived less than 48 hours after ordering on a bank holiday weekend. Been looking for ages to find a clothes line to put on our patio, and was so pleased to find High & Dry!
Thankfully, we decided to buy one, and yes, the video assembly was much more straightforward than the written one, but it’s a brilliant piece of kit.
The line is heavy enough to stay in place on windy days, although it does have wheel brakes also.
Customer Service have been emailing us throughout the week, answering our questions, and have been first class!
Yes, a considered purchase but it will last!

We’ve just done a massive garden makeover & renovation, so didn’t want to spoil it with an ugly line. Seeing high& dry felt like a game changer, although I was sceptical about stability and amount of drying space. Anyway, we ordered it and are so pleased with the end result - very stable, so easy to move and takes king size bedding. It was not the simplest thing to put together, but the video (stopped & started multiple times 😂) was helpful. It took over 2 hours, so be patient!

I purchased my High & dry line in July 2024 , I have used every fine day since putting 2/3 loads of washing on it .
Love the fact I can get sheets & towels dried in the fresh air and I can chase the sun around the house :) .I have shared the website & Instagram page with dozens of friends & neighbours & many of them have since purchased too .

I absolutely love my High&Dry washing line, I love how sturdy it is in all weathers. I love that I can get up to 3 loads of washing on it. And if the sun moves I can move it round my garden to suit.

Prompt response to request for parts, instructions for assembly straight forward and explicit.

Well as you know it's a lot of money to pay, but it's just a real bit of quality, I hated washing line going across garden, so I decided to go for it, and yes it's brilliant, it's easy to move, fold away, tidy, holds loads, and very light,, and leaves ure garden with plenty space, luv it,.

When it arrived I had a few issues with it so go in touch . They emailed back with a couple of hrs with a reassuring email. The next day they sent me a photo of the parcel and it arrived the following day . They also offered me a discount which arrived within a few days
I must admit I was so surprised that they were so proactive I really dreaded how long it might all take
I have never experienced such great customer service and I should add I’m thrilled with my washing drier !

A very handy and well-designed clothes horse. It’s easy to move around outdoors thanks to the wheels, even with a full load of washing. Feels solid and secure, and provides plenty of space for clothes to dry properly. Folds away neatly after use and doesn’t take up much storage room. Works really well and is great value.

Great additional to busy family life. The Clothes line easily fits a full load of washing and being moveable is a game changer. The wheels mean you can move it around the yard to catch the best heat and breeze. Couldn’t be without it!

This movable washing line has been my Best Buy! I love that I can move it around to catch the sun without taking up lots of space in my garden. It easily fits a full load of washing including larger items like bed sheets, towels etc. without feeling crowded.

Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. There was an issue with the delivery address and, despite informing them of this four times, no response at all from the company.

They delivered it to the wrong address - 62 miles and 2 hours drive to retrieve it. I'm seriously NOT impressed with such an apathetic attitude to customer sales post-purchase.

Now to put the thing together. Seems from other reviews I may well have bought a pig in a poke. We'll see.

I simply can’t accept that anyone honestly thinks this is worth the money… to dry your clothes! These reviews leave me scratching my head. The idea is great in principle but the product is like an amateurish, cheap prototype that needs a LOT of enhancing. Especially for the extortionate price. And by that I mean it is unreasonably overpriced. For that you would expect far less to do in terms of putting it together but you literally have to build the thing from scratch, and it’s not simple on your own or if you’re not the best with flat pack assembling. Nuts screws, bars strings casters, LOADS.
It feels flimsy as someone else said and it is, worst of all within a few uses, my folding mechanism started to get stuck and now has completely broken. I’m just left with what seems like, a bunch of metal bars and strings which I have to just chuck my clothes over. After the good weather is over, sadly, it’s going in the tip and I’ll go back to a rotary drier.
I hope High and Dry work on this product because it is nowhere near ready for retail at this price. And even when it is, they need to massively revise the cost because I could have bought a new tumble drier for that price.
It needs to be a whole lot sturdier and prettier to justify £250. Should include a cover as a bare minimum and considering the whole thing is self assembly and in my case, got a handyman to put it together, I’ve wasted more money this summer on a bunch of metal to dry my clothes than on clothes to actually wear.
“Anything else is just a washing line” is the most inane selling point. Two posts in your garden and a retractable line are not worse than having to look at this cumbersome eyesore leaned up against your fence. And now I actually use my brain and think about it… what IS so wrong with a washing line??
