I cannot recommend Higgsllp highly enough.
After a grueling 4 year divorce and complex financial settlement, Philip Barnsley and Ellie Norton were the team that finally got me through it with my sanity and future intact.
From the very first meeting, Philip's approach was professional, strategic, and deeply reassuring.
Divorce is one of the most stressful experiences anyone can go through, and this one involved significant financial assets, long term negotiations, several court hearings and plenty of emotional skill and care.
Both Phil and Ellie were patient with my questions, no matter how many times I asked the same thing, explained complex legal and financial matters in plain English, and always had a clear plan.
What stood out most was their tenacity. They fought hard when needed, negotiated smartly when it made sense, and kept me focused on the long game rather than getting me lost in the day to day drama. after four long years, we reached a settlement I am genuinely satisfied with- something I wasn't sure was possible at several points along the way.
The whole team felt like a fantastic, well oiled machine.
Responsive, supportive, and truly invested in getting the best outcome for me. They went beyond on multiple occasions, and I always felt like I had experts in my corner who had my back.
If you are facing a divorce or complicated financial settlement, don't hesitate, hire this team. They are worth every penny and then some. I'm incredibly grateful for everything they did for me.

Have phoned twice over the last 2 days promised a call back both times my details were taken and no phone call back! So glad I didn’t invest my time and money into this law firm who clearly have zero interest in helping new customers. Defo would never have prioritised my case if they can’t even return a simple phone call. Also no apology was given for them not calling me back the first time complete lack of regard and customer service. Stay well away!

Will start by saying that I received excellent service from the business conveyancing department.
The wills and probate team however is a completely different story. I am writing this review to urge anyone considering using this company for their wills to reconsider. My father instructed them as trustees in the event he passed away, in good faith, and he would turn in his grave if he knew what I have been put through by this company. There is too much to even write in here but he passed nearly 4 years ago, and matters are still not resolved. They ignore you, promise responses/call backs and fail to deliver. They've made numerous mistakes and forgotten to give information meaning I've been pressured to make decisions with no time to consider due to deadlines. This is from the director of this department, who I am dealing with as the original solicitor was awful too.
I know this may sound like I'm just some nightmare customer but I assure you this isn't the case. Other professionals (accountant etc) have been astounded by the incompetency and downright shoddy service by what is supposed to be a well respected company.
I honestly would hate anyone's family to go through this, especially at such an already difficult time. Please at least consider other options because no one wants to think of their loved ones being put through so much stress and anxiety.

I leave 1 stars only because the commercial conveyancing department were excellent. The wills and probate team deserve 0 stars based on the "service " I've received
