I ordered a turntable drive belt online and it arrived 2 days later. Very efficient service. I would happily use this company again.

Went into the Castlegate Mill showroom to look at hifi speakers, Barry started of well showing us what options they had in on active speakers, and set a pair up for us to lessen too, I liked the sound of KEF LSX speakers and asked Barry how long delivery would be, " Barry replied 24hours if in stock, 72hours if they have to order them in ". I then paid in full to order them, Three days later I had not received any delivery date so contacted the showroom for update, only to be told the speakers would not be in stock till early April !
This is very poor when they could of told me before paying in full for goods they don't have in stock to to sell
I would of gladly left a deposit and waited if they ha told me the truth about the speakers not being available.

Wonderful company who go beyond what you might expect. I sold some speakers to them recently and when DPD failed twice to collect them the company owner collected them personally when he was in the area. Also ordered a Quad amplifier on Tuesday afternoon and it was delivered on Wednesday - fantastic service!

Fantastic customer service - I bought a turntable from these guys (at a really great price!). Unfortunately after setting it up I discovered there was an issue with the sound on one of the channels. I emailed the store and Barry responded within the hour and organised a replacement for me, and a courier to collect the faulty unit from my house - couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended.

Ordered a turntable (at a great price) which was delivered quickly with no issues. When I set the turntable up it became clear there was a problem with the tonearm (manufacturer issue). Hifi Sound quickly arranged for a replacement to be issued and the faulty item picked up on the same day. Communication was brilliant. Amazing customer service. Oh and great prices too. Would highly recommend.

Once again excellent service, great price on an amp, next day delivery at 0900hrs…

Amp was as new, looks unused to me…

Absolutely terrific and highly recommended. The speakers I bought were as good as new despite them being bought as second hand. Also their staff were great to deal with and were incredibly helpful when they went out of their way to sort out the delivery of speakers going in both directions. I dare say that if your purchasing 2nd hand speakers, they'll be in excellent condition as mine were (good as new). An extremely strong recommendation from me.

Bought a pair of Lowther Bicor 200 Speakers. Great staff relationship from order all the way to the front door. They used a fantastic Pallet delivery company who gave me loads of notice 30 minutes and were so helpful. The goods were delivered in perfect condition and very well wrapped. the speakers sound sublime and are exactly what was advertised. I 100% recommend these people for A1 service and a friendly manner. Thanks, Stephen for all your help..

Product Recieved as described, was suppose to have been home delived but due to mix up this never went ahead as planned however Hifisound sent it via courier and still arrived same day as planned, great service and price highly recommended if your in the market for a new upgrade.

I wanted to upgrade the Magneplanar 1.7i's I had, to the 3.7i's. As I'd bought the 1.7i's from Hifisound previously, and was impressed with the service, product knowledge & speed of delivery, I made them my first choice. Traded in the 1.7i's for a very reasonable price with them, which clinched it for me. My initial enquiry was made on the Monday, ordered the 3.7i's on the Tuesday & they were delivered Wednesday & I live in Central Scotland!
I realised they were large & assembly was not a 'one man job', but you can imagine how surprised I was, when the guy who delivered them, insisted that he set them up for me!.... I could'nt have done that on my own! It also turns out that the 'driver' was one of the business co-owners! Really interesting conversation with him... Great bloke. Thanks Hifisound.

HIFISound ~ absolutely spot on !!! - had a Technics 1200 mk2 in for minor repair very recently & when the work was done collected it , got it home & cranked up the sound system to give it a trial run , only to find that there a minor issue with it ~ & that was me !!! .
The cheap "Tracking Force Guage" that I'd bought ~ (not being an audiophile , I did'nt know better) ~ was miles out . Phoned HIFISound saying there was a problem with the sound & thus the repair work , so they hooked me up to the individual engineer who worked on my Technics , & on hearing my description of the sound & inherent problem , calmy steered me to increasing the tracking force on the tone arm ~ ,,,, problem solved ,,,,, [ buy cheap - buy twice : - or better still , leave it to the pro's] , I've now learnt my lesson & appreciate that they offer an honest , ~ (hard to find these days) ~ skilled & concise service . Will have no hesitation in using them again in the future ......

Enquired about a Rega Planar 2 and Rega A2D over the phone with Stephen at 3:30, by 5:30 the equipment had been delivered to my house (live local).

Could not recommend a better hi-fi shop, the staff were a pleasure to deal with and I will be a returning customer without a doubt.
