Do not order from this company. Order never arrived, no reply to emails. Phoned several times, says voice mail box full. Their website should not be still operational.

Excellent service for the guys here! Had a problem with my order, emailed about it and was sorted straight away! They are very tentative and always have the customer at heart. Very competitive prices and are fully stocked with everything you will need! Will definitely be ordering again

In response to your reply to my review above of the poor service I got from you. What you on about regarding collection. I stayed in the day you arranged for them not to show and he arrived 2 days later to collect. You should post accurate accounts in your replies. I didn’t opt to sort direct with growmax. You put me on to George for grow technology who messed me about for 2 weeks then dumped it on me to sort with growmax. Since receiving the RO it has been used for 10hrs and that was requested by George. Since then it’s just sat there not used( since start of February) waiting for faulty parts to be replaced. It’s quite easy to pin the blame on me. As for me agreeing to wait I did because every time I called for update I was told sorry a few more days. Told this 4 times! At the end of the day I have been totally stitched up by HG hydo. You need to realise we all make mistakes Tom occasionally. You just need to admit it sometimes and refusing my refund was just un called for considering you knew of all the issues from day one.
Poor service on this occasion bearing in mind I have had good service before from you. Thing is Tom, the service needs to be consistent and not rip off customers. I now have a unit I dont need.
Obviously not just me either looking at all the poor reviews. Says it all.

Hi just like say very accurate service .please be patient with staff .they going through a stage were they short on staff .as you know with this pandemic lockdown .please don't be upset or rude to the staff .I can say you will receive you purchases. I gave 1 star because that was the lowest score I could award.
I should have read the reviews before I placed my order.
Reviews warn to avoid this company as they're questionable company at best.
They sent me a filter cover which was clearly too big. I sent it straight back and they claimed it was full of human hair!
I started a paypal dispute and amazingly they found in his favour!
There's lots of other more reputable shops selling similar wares so I suggest avoiding these and using them instead.

Still no word
It has been 10 days since their last reply and still no word. I cannot seem to reach via phone either for some reason. I am adamant to use every channel of communication I have (including this site) to get my refund. I can understand a reasonable duration of postponement due to COVID and Brexit but this is beyond unacceptable.

Excellent company to deal with...great product selection with very competitive prices and professional service. I would not be biased by any of the poor reviews which I found to be inaccurate and exaggerated based on my personal experience..perhaps in some occasions the customer is perhaps not always right. I would definitely recommend this vendor as being A***** and look forward to future business with them

To your answer i will reply with the last mail i wrote you guys, but you refuse to reply:
I mean i sent you proff that you yourself has told me the package was picked from you between Christmas and new year AKA December. You told me so because i wanted to cancel the order. I even said i wanted it canceled to avoid taxes and you promised there wouldn't be any. That is true had the package actually been picked up by a courier company before January as you stated it was. Now when i need proff of this you are not able to deliver. This very simply states that you have been lying and there is no way around it, if you can't send me proff otherwise. Now as it currently is you are a liar and you have wasted vast amounts of my time. You won't even admit it or at least refund me my shipping cost and you can't understand i think this is unacceptable?
To your new updated answer i can only say: that is another lie from your side.. I've emailed you a picture of current tax laws which clearly states what you are saying is NOT TRUE. I've even sent you their contact information as you asked, so you could call them yourself. Had i been able to link things here on Trustpilot i could show it. Otherwise you can google it quite easy..

Selling items on their website which they do not have in stock. I was charged €220 for a propagator, which said was in stock on their website. I received an email confirming this also. After waiting a week I enquired to see when the delivery would be. This was when I was told they don't have them in stock and have no idea when they would be restocked. The excuse i was given was they are a small business and can't keep their website updated. I have cancelled the order and looked for a refund. Hopefully that can be done in a professional manner. You should not be using an online platform to sell products you dont have. If you can't manage your online shop it shouldn't be live for people to spend money, you should only have a walk in service. Hope this doesn't happen to somebody else in the future.

You are the real Thievery Corporation. 2020 has past and I still haven't received my refund, although there was plenty of time to accuse me as a bad customer. Obviously these money are STOLEN from me and you people over there are nothing more than pitiful imbeciles that aren't just bad traders, rather cheapy THIEVES.Give me my money back!

Very disappointed, i was a bit suspicious about this company once I read the reviews on them which most are bad, and now they seem to have messed me around aswell, didn’t send one of the items I ordered as it was not in stock but clearly says it is on their website when I ordered it. I didnt even receive a email telling me it was out of stock just a hand written sticky note in by parcel. was promised it would be with me on the 30th but once again I had to contact them myself to see if it’s coming which it is not. Asked for refund as it’s a waste of time they I would avoid this company and go to a more reliable one and would advise this company to either stop putting false advertising on their website saying things are in stock when they are not and keep the website completely up to date. And have a much better customer service team as it does not look good leaving a sticky note in a customers box to tell them a item is not there rather then contact the customer through at least email. I wouldn’t be surprised if I have problems getting my refund back.

An order was placed in error with HG…
An order was placed in error with HG Hydroponics (I left my phone unattended and my son took full advantage and placed one for me). I noted from an automated email received after the order was placed that cancelling orders was not possible due to the pandemic and staff shortages, so submitted a request through PayPal. Ultimately this caused some difficulties for the staff. I called them on the Monday (order placed Saturday) to explain the situation and communication was fantastic, spoke several times over the phone and emails were responded to very quickly, a full refund was received within 10 days of the erroneous order being placed. All I can say is if there is a problem with an order, please contact them by phone or email before seeking help from anyone else as for me, if I had done so, I would have had the situation resolved much quicker.

Where do I begin.
I made a purchase with HG Hyderoponics on the 31st of October 2020. Due to Covid I was informed that deliveries would take extended period of time. So after about 10 days I called to ask if any item is possibly holding the order back. At this time Tom informed me that the items were being shipped that day(Monday). Fast forward to that Friday still no items or tracking number, called again and items where still on site. Then things got crazy, I was then told they did not have a tent I order in stock, So I said great that's find send everything else. Again told my order will be shipped, the following week I called again, and surprise more items could not be delivered.
So I finaly got half the itmes ordered and about £100 of my £500 order. Today is rthe 9th and I still had no refund nor had any other items delivered. I called the store and this time the decided to put the phone down on me.
Unless your in the mood to get worked up or loose a shed load of cash, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY..

Dreadful customer service.
My items were apparently 'in stock' when ordered, sent out three weeks later, when arrived the items that cost over £500 were severly damaged, uploaded images etc as requested to the manager the same day...4 weeks later I still have these damaged items here whilst being promised numerous times from HG that the manager would contact me to let me know what was going on...not once did he!
So I had to escalate it to PayPal, surprise, surprise, the manager emails me to say that if I return the items (after all this time) I can get a refund...these two items are close to 40kg in weight and are huge when boxed, and I now need to somehow post them!!
The manager has also blocked my email address too,
This company is a clown's outfit, avoid, avoid!
