Delivery date is not as claimed. But the items eventually arrived

First order with Hewyn (#HEWYN-8055), placed 13 July. The checkout processed my payment before I could apply WELCOME10, the first-order discount code Hewyn advertises on its own homepage. I emailed support 3 minutes after the payment went through and also wrote via the website chat. No response to either.

I followed up the next day. When support finally replied: the code cannot be applied retroactively, and cancelling would invalidate it since it only works on a first order. So the options left for a brand-new customer were pay full price, or return the item — with return shipping at my own cost under their published policy — and re-order under a different name to qualify for the discount again.

I requested the return under their own published policy and gave written notice that I would refuse the delivery. They framed accepting it as a "goodwill exception" — for a situation created entirely by their own non-response — and told me that the order had "already been handed over to the courier" and could not be stopped.

It was delivered on 19 July — five days after it was supposedly already with the courier — by a delivery identifying as "desertcart". I was not at home, and there was no way for anyone to recognize this as the Hewyn order and refuse it as agreed.

After days of back-and-forth over what should have been a two-minute fix, I gave up and kept the item. That is not a resolution — that is a customer worn down by the process. I cannot recommend buying here.

I had a great experience with customer support. The representative Ms. Salma, responded promptly, was courteous, and provided clear and helpful information. I truly appreciate the excellent service.

Now 12 days didn't receive my shipment and the tracking number is non- correct

I was disappointed the product was not delivered in full. I received 1 out of 5 items. Response time was not the fastest, however they did provide a full refund and did not charge me for the 1 item I received. For that I have to give them credit.
In future, reach out to the customer and let them know.

I ordered protein powder and a water bottle from the website and didn't mind the high prices as I understand it's all imported. However the water bottle was not available in my preferred color and despite the wide variety of "available" products there was only one color is stock. A bit misleading to the customers especially to see the same color that I ordered (which wasn't available) still showing on the website. The customer service is excellent through, Ryan and Lojain were very prompt in their replies and very professional. The delivery was quick also, got my protein on the 5th day.
