Dirty workmen!

A driver was loading a machine onto a low-loader truck this morning in Lancaster. The driver threw his empty coffee cup and other rubbish onto the grass where he was working. Not a good company image to say the least.
DON’T LET A ROTTEN APPLE SPOIL THE BARREL!

Dreadful behaviour and complete lack of compassion

This company parked multiple vehicles and pieces of machinery illegally across my private driveway (whilst working on a house around the corner), making it difficult to leave my property. When I politely asked their staff to move, I was met with insults and an outright refusal to cooperate.

I am disabled and was trying to leave my home to attend an appointment with a cancer specialist. Their actions caused an unnecessary delay and significant distress at an already difficult time. The lack of professionalism, basic decency, and compassion shown was shocking.

How a company behaves when faced with a simple, reasonable request says a great deal about their values. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others before using their services.

We are extremely sorry to hear about the difficulties you have described and the distress this situation caused you, particularly given the circumstances you have outlined. This is certainly not the experience we would want anyone to have, and we take matters like this very seriously.

As we operate across 11 UK depots and hire machinery to a wide range of customers, we would need some further information in order to investigate this fully. When our machines are hired, they are often operated by our customers’ own operators as we provide the machinery only. It is therefore possible that the individuals involved were not directly our staff.

That being said, we do not condone this type of behaviour under any circumstances, regardless of who was operating the equipment. We would like to look into this as a matter of urgency. If you are able to provide any further details such as the fleet numbers of the machines involved (located next to the QR code on the sticker), a description of the operators, or any additional information you may have, it would greatly assist our investigation.

Brilliant Hire Service

H.E. Services are an excellent company to hire construction machinery from. The attachments they can provide are brilliant too. From the initial enquiry they were beyond helpful and answered all of my questions quickly. I would highly recommend H. E. Services to anyone who is in need of any plant machinery.

Dreadful service

We called HE Services to ask if they would deliver a 50 tonne crawler crane for us, they said they could and we agreed a price.
They turned up 2 hours late, with an unsuitable trailer and without adequate chains to secure the machine. In short HE Services failed miserably to offer the service we had agreed on.
This cost me £200 in labour for my staff and an expert crane driver to be there to load it.
They agreed that they had let us down, but when I asked for my costs to be reimbursed they refused and said that they would only offer me a credit on account. I explained that this was unreasonable as we do not move plant generally and would obviously not use them again if we were to, so I just asked that my costs were covered.
They flat refused, so we are left out of pocket.
This is a dreadful way for a company to behave.

Great company to hire from.

Great company to hire from. From the point of enquiry to the point of off hire they were quick & helpful. I didn’t have an account with them but that wasn’t a problem. Ordered a 1.5-ton Excavator. It turned up on time & the driver was really helpful, the machine looked new & I got my job done with no problems. H.E. did everything they said they would. I would highly recormend them if you need to hire anything.

HRS Rail LTD have been using HE Ashford…

HRS Rail LTD have been using HE Ashford for many years now and have received a faultless service. We use them for both self drive and machine and driver hire. we work on reactive contracts and require plant at anti social hours or with little notice given. Lloyd and his team always deal with our last minute request and go the extra mile in ensuring they have met our demands.
