I wish to cancel the app,I received a phone call from Herdwatch on 4 June.I explained why l no longer wanted or used Herdwatch.I noticed on July8 payment pending for Herdwatch. I immediately emailed to cancel payment. The reply was sorry but payment could only be cancelled for next year.This isn't satisfactory to say the least.

I do not have the app installed
I do not have the app installed, and I have not used it for a year and I did not see an email from Herdwatch letting me know that my annual subscription was renewing automatically. I don’t have any opinion on the product, but I do believe it is possible they could provide me a refund, even though they say they cannot.

Herdwatch is an annual subscription service, and renewal invoices are sent in advance of the renewal date before payment is taken. We understand, however, that it's frustrating if you didn't see the renewal notification or weren't expecting the payment.
When customers sign up to Herdwatch, our team provides onboarding support to help them get up and running and ensure they're getting the most value from the app. We're sorry to hear you didn't get the opportunity to make use of the system.

Great customer service
The company knows how to do customer service. I have received multiple overseas calls asking if I had questions. The software has a lot of capabilities, and I feel I have only scratched the surface on usage. I would like to be able to do more financial tracking for farm income and expenses (ledger). Best feature is the ability to use the software "in the field" on my smartphone. Great product.

We have been using herdwatch for a number of years for our suckler cow herd. The programme meets our needs with options to download reports for the Red Tractor portal. On the rare occasion we need help with something the team are very easy to contact.

Herdwatch operates as a subscription service, with renewals processed automatically to help ensure uninterrupted access to the app and your farm records. Renewal invoices are issued one month in advance of payment being taken so you can decide if you want to continue the subscription or cancel.
That said, we completely understand that subscription renewals can sometimes come as a surprise, and we’re always happy to talk through any concerns or questions you may have.
