Your renewal invoice would have been sent in advance of the payment being taken. In some cases, renewal prices can increase if there are additional subscriptions or changes to the account, but we completely understand how frustrating it can feel to see a higher renewal come through — especially when you weren’t able to speak to someone when you reached out.
We’re also sorry that you didn’t receive the callback you were expecting — that’s not the level of service we aim to provide.

Disappointed with customer service
Disappointed with customer service. I called and no answer, offered a call back service that never happened and lastly no reply to the messages.
Renewal more than doubled from last year it went from €155 to €320 for a small farm of 50-70 cattle per year. Tried to cancel renewal but money was taken and no one to speak to.
I would not suggest this service based on customer service or will we stay with this service.

Just to clarify, all Herdwatch subscriptions renew automatically, and we send a reminder 30 days in advance to allow time to make any changes or cancellations.
That said, we can see you mentioned trying to get in touch before the renewal, so we’d really like to look into that for you. If you can provide us with the phone number linked to your account, we’ll check everything on our side and see what we can do.

If you need the basics at a big price…
If you need the basics at a big price this is the program for you!
If you want to add sheep or other additions, you will be charged extra.
If you would like to use farm software to keep every record you could ever want for cattle, sheep and crops, with excellent back up and advice 7 days a week - all at one flat rate price, this is not the program for you.
I had Herdwatch for years but found it was too basic for what I wanted it to do.
I naively thought this was the best herd management program available.
It did not have the functionality to deal with both herds either, without taking out another subscription.
My advice?
Try Farm Matters software.
Its absolutely amazing in comparison!

decent intro offers for new joiners, the features and interface are very good, especially for medicine usage and reporting for FQAS needs. What is less good is the customer service experience. I had to ask twice for auto renewal to be disabled ( should be a feature that the account holder can disable, but I guess I know why they don't offer that ;-). Customer service too is sloppy, and plain disrespectful when you pull them on something they claim t have done. so coming from a pro subscription, with no willingness to adjust pricing plans for existing customers, I think I will let it slide to a free sub. A shame, as I said the tech bit is good

We are sorry to hear that your experience with customer support did not meet expectations. That is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we take feedback like this seriously. If there has been any confusion around your renewal settings or previous requests, we would very much like the opportunity to review what happened and put it right.
Regarding renewals, subscriptions are set to renew automatically by default, but they can be disabled on request. We are also continuously reviewing how we improve transparency and account controls for customers.

I use herdwatch all the time. Great service. Giving 4 star because the system is very expensive if you have cattle and sheep. Other than that I love it. Very easy use and great costumer service.

Customer service doesn't exist!
If I could put zero, I would! They are really helpful when trying to sell it to you but aftercare is zero. They took £200 out of my account after I cancelled. They've accepted that I had sent an email to cancel but can't refund me...told me their system doesn't allow it. Shocking customer service!! If you are considering joining them, don't. Go for Agriwebb...better more stable app and they look after you.

This company has paid itself by removing monies from the farm credit card by storing the credit card details illegally, and not having the patience to wait for correspondence or acknowledgement to do so. On trying to obtain a refund there is a smirch of arrogance which says we've got your money, so tough you're not getting it back. And, I see there are quite a few complaints of this company elsewhere on the Internet.
Update:Company has now refunded subscription. Thank you.

I used to trust this company as they…
I used to trust this company as they used to have great support, but avoid at all costs! They will tie you to a £200 annual subscription. If they offer you a 3 month subscription for 30 days don’t take it as that’s an easy route for them to get you onto the yearly subscription.
Thought it would be easily resolved but no, the fella started smirking on the other end of the line and said we get these calls all the time. Shows how much they support their customers, it’s all about money to them now.
