Dreadful service for prospective purchasers.
Very poor communicators.
I would NEVER use them when selling, and now won't view any property that they are marketing.
If you are a seller please consider other agents in order to get the maximum coverage of potential buyers as i am hearing a lot of other negative comments about Henry Adams around the town.
Despite having a completed chain we were gazumped on the day we expected to exchange contracts.
Dreadful, unfortunately Henry Adams in Horsham live up to all the poor reports and negative comments about estate agents that one reads in the press (which up until our dealings with Henry Adams we thought were untrue, how wrong we were!).

Henry Adams Storrington, what can I say expect they are very helpful and professional.
I was struggling to find a bigger place for me and my family until I spoke to them.
I told them what I was after and they found me the perfect place.
with in weeks I was in my new place and am very happy I used them.
I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.

Went to view a property priced at £1450 a month, absolutely loved it, it was perfect and seemed promising. It all felt like false advertising especially when I went to place my application, I was given an opportunity to basically bid on the house by upping the offer for rent a month? How ridiculous! No one should have to bid on a house to get a higher chance to be accepted. Especially when everyone is struggling for money. The owner took a higher offer of course and the company were useless at letting us know. Not a professional setting at all. Ridiculous

I have not met Guy Peters of Henry Adams Surveyors. Not surprising. Don’t need to. I am in Toronto struggling to get my brother’s Bognor properties to probate and Guy is in Chichester. Amazing service. Fast and complete job first try. Knows what he is talking about and makes it clear to people even in distant places. Concise but complete. First, a Red Book appraisal. Then an update to current market price from my next email. And the price is right. Courtesy and understanding thrown in for free. My kind of guy. Well done Henry Adams. I recommend them to all.

Very disappointing with their very poor advice and valuation when I called them in to carry out a valuation.
Probably,a chimpanzee could have out performed Henry Adams,who wanted to charge highest commission and also had the cheek to want the client to pay for professional photography.If you list the property at such a low price as they often do,they are NOT acting in your best interest.AVOID!!

Fanatic services and very reassuring especially as I was a first time mover. Highly recommend. Very trustworthy

AWFUL - WOLVES - harassed me during lockdown in 2021 - TRAVEL and TOURISM sector did not need this ontop of everything else going on - pushed me out in the end - judged and assumed but only made and ass out of themselves. What goes around comes around Emily! AND after I upscaled the damp apartment and garden the landlord put the rent up! Hang your heads in shame! Not even worthy of a 1 star!

Beyond awful from the very start to the very end. Let themselves into our house without our permission when we were out. Too many things to list but just AVOID dealing with this company at all costs.

Absolutely awful service and team. They don’t get back to you, they don’t ensure repairs are carried out and in general some of the team are just rude. Avoid at ALL costs because you will regret renting through them. I didn’t realise what an awful reputation they had

Janina at Henry Adams has been thorough and helpful to support me throughout the process as I bought a house in Chichester in a little over 2 months.
She has responded quickly to my queries, and has been efficient and effective in all she has been able to do in liaising between myself and the seller. There has been anxiety to manage, and I have found her calm manner useful.

Throughout my local house hunting I found the Henry Adams team, and Oliver and Daniel in particular, to be extremely knowledgeable about the Petersfield and surrounding villages property market. I hugely valued the expertise they were able to provide me. I was also really impressed with their friendly and courteous manner. They returned messages and emails promptly and went out of their way to help. I would highly recommend their personable service to people looking to buy and sell in this area.

My husband and I want to relocate from Suffolk to the South Downs snd I wanted to view a property. Henry Adam’s were obstructive snd unhelpful (not great for the seller) and when I did get to view the property were rushing me round the house. Two days later I asked to have a second viewing. I was rushed round the property in 20 minutes. Not a very professional attitude / the house was selling for 830k and they expected me to make a decision in less than an hour. Bad attitude!

Used Henry Adams for a letting service. The prospective tenants literally fell into their laps as they saw the listing via another agency. Every step has been a nightmare. Incompetent and sloppy service.

Terrible service and communication. No consistency and they don't care about the properties they manage. They look good on the outside but don't care once you've signed up with them

As soon as you sign that tenancy contract they disappear...

No response to any requests. When you start dropping F bombs they may come back with some annual leave or story, etc.

Very poor service. I basically repair things on my own cost as asking them about anything is a big deal.

You won't get far running business like this. I feel sorry for the guy who owns the agency as those people don't do their job even at a minimum level.

We used the Selsey, West Sussex branch recently and the COVID 19 precautions were excellent. Customer service is perfect and even under these difficult times we are kept informed of progress at every step. Well done to this great office.

Absolutely no after-sale services. Unhelpful. Terrible experience. I'll void to make any deal with your agency.

If I could give Henry Adams Lettings Chichester less than one star I would. As tenants paying an inflated monthly rent for a small, tired property in Chichester, which we rented for nine months, we could not have experienced worse customer service. There were countless problems with the property which were either not addressed at all, or addressed incredibly slowly and incompetently by the staff at Henry Adams Lettings Chichester. As a result, we suffered nine months of discomfort, inconvenience and stress. During our tenancy there was a high turnover of staff and a clear lack of leadership at Henry Adams Lettings Chichester. Needless to say, we would certainly not recommend them!
