I used Hello Vans for my recent move and Heemish was really helpful. He made sure all my stuff was properly secured in his van and we carried everything into the new flat. Communication was good.
Would happily recommend him and the company if you need a reliable mover.

Genuinely such a fantastic service, I booked a 4 hour slot and the whole disassembly of furniture, loading, unloading, and reassembly was done in 3! They also carried everything up to the 3rd floor of my new building up the stairs with ease. Mohamed and his team were a credit to the company honestly.

I requested a small van moving stuff from Horley to New Malden. Online booking was easy, which I made 2 days before. The price was fair.
The driver turned up on time, who is polite, helpful and friendly. He helped upload and unload the stuff. He also patiently secured the stuff in the van.
I will definitely use HelloVans again and highly recommend them.

We were helped by Farid and Ahmed in moving from Camden to Potters Bar. It was excellent service and very punctual delivery. Highly recommended!

My experience was fun and very efficient the movers helped me and we got along so well joking in the car and talking in general and my boxes were moved so quickly too. My driver was bakhitar and I thank him for the experience.

The sub-contractors, in an unbranded van (I guess Hello Vans sells the contract to the cheapest available) arrived on time and were friendly enough. They worked rapidly. This was initially reassuring because I didn't know if the job would fit in the three hours booked. It soon became clear there was plenty of time. However, this did not mean the contractors worked more slowly or with more care. They were in a hurry. They often carried too many items simultaneously, overloading themselves and banging items together. They showed little care for my stuff and were more concerned with getting the job done. They didn’t seem skilled or well-practiced in manual handling. They didn't seem to be professionally trained in moving furniture and boxes. They had no idea where best to hold IKEA furniture, often grabbing the fascia bits held on only by one screw, rather than more securely bolted parts of the assembly. Their manner toward my belongings was casual. They damaged the foot of my office bureau and the bottom of my door frame.

They had difficulty manipulating an armchair out of my old apartment – an armchair I'd had no issue positioning correctly to get through the door when it came. For people supposedly experienced in moving furniture, they were oddly useless. At the new apartment, they couldn't get the armchair through the lounge door. Rather than patiently removing the feet (they had no screwdriver until I remembered I had one from putting up curtains) they tried shoving it, damaging the bottom of my door frame. Only then did they stop to remove the feet, and the item was actually no problem. They only half-heartedly screwed the feet back in, and I had to refit them myself. Again, we had plenty of time, but they were in a hurry to get done. My furniture seemed to be paying the price for their impatience (or greed). The job was done in two hours when I had paid for three. I asked if they had received the ten-pound tip I had left during sign up. The boss said no, they never got that money or any tips passed on.

It’s odd that this company has so many positive reviews. But then, I notice, most reviewers on Google have very few other posts. This is a red flag for fake reviews. As I said, my van wasn’t branded, no tee shirts, no professional attitude or care. They seem to just send the cheapest local bidders round. I was worried about the employment and insurance credentials of the people they provided. My advice, like the other one-star review here, is steer well clear and maybe employ a local contractor directly yourself instead of this dubious agent. Like my fellow victim, I’ve written to customer service about this matter, but they haven’t replied. A strange silence, because when they were after my money, they were all responsiveness and light. A shoddy job, a shoddy agency misrepresented to me by the reviews here and in their publicity.

Quick efficient and handled my belongings with care, not to mention a good solid £100 cheaper than where I had looked elsewhere.

Driver Taha Leeds was lovely to work with and he was very helpful and cheerful. Move was complete under an hour, very efficient service. Would recommend this service, especially for shorter moves around the Leeds area.

Professional, calm, capable, friendly and kind. A very organised move by the team of two with Luton van and between two counties. A very acceptable price for what was a long day. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Avoid this company.
Booked a full removal service including dismantling, transport and delivery. They turned up late with no tools, so we ended up dismantling and carrying everything ourselves while one crew member sat on his phone.
After causing delays through their own lack of preparation, they tried to charge extra. When we refused, they unloaded the van and dumped our items in a car park, never completing the job.
Paid for a professional service and received the exact opposite.

Great experience with Taba and the Hello Vans company. Our move was over 200 miles away and involved a stop along the way, so it was a bit complicated.
He was bang on time, had fantastic communication with us and the move went smoothly and seamlessly.

Great service from start to finish! The whole booking process was quick and straightforward, making everything completely stress-free. Heemish was excellent with communication before the move, keeping us informed every step of the way. On the day, everything was collected and moved into our new flat efficiently, and the team handled all of our belongings with great care and respect. A fantastic experience from start to finish. The two removal men were courteous, professional, quick,and very well organised. I never leave reviews just for the sake of them but I really do recommend Hello Vans very strongly. Please consider them if you need removals they were fantastic and made the move a lot less stressful than it could of been. First rate organisation from start to finish. We booked a removal van from Sheffield, 2 men, large van, protective covers, wheels, the lot, to arrive at our property at 10am. We had no arrival, so we rung them ,to be told, 'there's a problem with the van, we're sending one from Manchester, he'll be with you asap.'
He arrived at 1 30pm, 3 hours late, with a man with a bad knee, We had already done the hard work by moving everything we could downstairs for them, so all they had to do was load the van, On arrival at our new property, we told them it was a long walk to the flat, they moved the bigger items. (which were damaged ) yet left the smaller ones a long way from the address. Then had the cheek to ask for more money as they'd worked over the alotted time. Absolute joke, we ended up doing all the work. W are 63 years old, and should not be expected to move al this stuff. They were paid £270 for doing a job. They failed. Disgusting.
