I am writing this very detailed review to help other customers avoid a similar experience.

On 26 December 2025, I visited HelloRE to fix a display flickering issue on my Apple MacBook Pro. The issue appeared during normal usage, and the laptop had no physical damage.

The service centre suggested replacing the display for ₹23,500 and assured me of a 1-year warranty, valid if there was no physical damage. Trusting this assurance, I agreed.

After only 3 days of very light use, I discovered that the new display also had vertical flickering, which is not easily visible to a normal user and appears only under specific conditions. I identified this issue after researching it thoroughly and immediately informed the service center.

They took the laptop back and later claimed physical damage without providing proof. This was shocking because the laptop was never mishandled.

When I went to collect the laptop, I spent nearly one hour checking it, but:

Proper handover was refused

I was asked to accept a faulty display

My original display was kept

Charging a high amount, retaining original parts, denying warranty without evidence, and attempting to hand over a defective display is misleading and unacceptable service.

HelloRe Review - 0 Stars, Terrible Experience

I had an absolutely horrific experience with HelloRe. My iPhone 13 had a minor Wi-Fi issue, but was otherwise fully functional. After sending it to HelloRe for repair, they returned it completely broken—it won’t even turn on now! To make matters worse, they’ve kept my phone and are completely unresponsive, ignoring all my calls and messages. Their customer service is nonexistent, and I’m left without a working phone or any resolution. I strongly suspect their Google reviews are paid, as they don’t reflect the reality of their terrible service. Avoid HelloRe at all costs—trust me, you’ll regret it!

Problem :-Phone is not getting charged via charging port.
Tried different charger or cabels to resolve issue.

Solution we tried
We took my friend's Google Pixel 7 Pro to this service center to check the charging port.
"If they couldn't repair it, they should have just told me upfront. Instead, they assured me it would be fixed in 2 hours."

We went there around 11:30 AM. By 1:45 PM, they told me they didn’t have the required spare part but that someone was bringing it, and it would take another 2–3 hours. We waited patiently. When we returned around 4:00 PM, they said the battery charge resistor wasn’t working and asked me to submit the phone for a day. We agreed.

But then they said they’d try with an alternate charging port and asked for more time. We waited again until 6:30 PM. Finally, they said they couldn't fix it. I asked for my phone back.

The moment the phone was placed into the case — not even fully — a "green line" appeared on the display. They immediately blamed my friend for inserting it into the case and said I shouldn’t have done that. But they never warned me! Now, my display is damaged too. They casually suggested installing some “Pixel Fixer” software to resolve the issue. Seriously???

We went in with one problem and came back with two. And when asked why the charging port wasn't working in the first place, they said they had no idea.

Please avoid this service center. phone's display is now ruined and I’m left with no proper solution. Extremely disappointed.

Summary- please don't take HIGH END MOBILES to this store with technical issues, I feel they get some hands-on experience on our devices...

Maybe issues like replacement of screen or maybe smart watch battery... replacement can be done here...

Installed the faulty battery in my MacBook and now refusing to replace it. Completely screwed up my SMC controller , which capped my CPU performance to 40% and GPU to 16%, and have the fans running at 6000 rpm.

Nadeem promised me to get it fixed next day as he was running to another customer, and I made the mistake of believing him and paying for the battery. Now, the support is refusing to just replace the battery, and saying they will have to keep it with them for 3 days — which is just a ploy to milk more money .

Selling lemons is not a good sustainable business.

Edit 01/04/2025 - This is the message I got from them.

You have claimed in your review that we installed a faulty battery, that your system was in perfect condition before our service, and that we are attempting to charge you unfairly.

We stand by the quality of our service and products, and we challenge you to substantiate your claim. If you can prove that the battery we installed is the sole issue and that there are no other faults in your system, we will not only replace the battery with a new one but also provide a full refund of the total amount paid.

We take our reputation seriously and are committed to fairness and transparency. Let us resolve this matter professionally.

HelloRE, I have a couple of questions for you

- Why did you install A2113 model battery without my consent, when I explictly told you that the model was A2141?
- Since you are implying that the issues are pre-existing, and you are faultless, why did YOUR technician did not charge the current system and validate before butchering my machine?

So you want me to "prove" (lol, the arrogance) to you that my laptop was working properly. You installed a wrong model A2113 model battery and likely damaged the motherboard in the process! Now you want me to prove "to you" -- by going back in the past -- that my system worked fine, before your poor quality work and substandard product butchered it.

Either of 2 things have happened.

1. They installed a faulty battery. I know for a fact that they installed a battery model I did not agree upon.

2. Nadeem did some damage to the motherboard itself during the installation of the battery and butchered it.

This is easily solvable by taking the battery back and refunding the money, but they are making tall claims about the greatness of their service, and warranty with absurd conditions applied.

You are a fraudster and a thief, who sold bad service and a product and now welching when being called out, because that's what fraudsters do.

You are implying that the issue existed before, but there is no basis for you to assume that -- because after butchering my laptop and running away with my money *you did nothing to validate that the repair was fine.* If anything you have to prove that your installation did not cause the damage.

This behaviour is the definition of not standing by your service and product.

Had a very good experience from hellore…

Had a very good experience from hellore as I had got my battery replaced for my iPhone 13.
They were quite quick as I had got it replaced at my place and the whole process from contacting them till my battery getting replaced was done quite fast and there was no compromise in the quality of the work.
