Hello Neighbour have been a fantastic…

Hello Neighbour have been a fantastic Property Management Provider. Often, I fear such companies will only care about the landlords, and treat the tenants poorly, but that was not the case here.

Admittedly, our start with them was not good. Before we moved in to the property, our contact at the company barely responded to us, making the securing of the property, and the arrangements to move in, much more stressful than they should have been.

However, once we moved in, we were assigned a new contact at the company (just because, now we were in the property, that meant a different person would oversee our needs. It wasn’t because of our first contact’s poor performance). Our new contact was called Junior, and he was outstanding: prompt, courteous, and reasonable, he was a great person to reach out to when issues arose in the property. Although Junior left the company 18 months or so into our tenancy, his replacements performed a similarly pleasing job.

Then, when it came time for us to move out and resolve any issues before our deposit would be released, we dealt with Sophie Bray and Josh Michels. Both were excellent, continuing the high standard of customer care already established by Junior.

Overall, I would heartily recommend this Property Management Provider to other renters. They seemed like good people keen to do a good job (and, in the exploitative world of the property market, that is all too often not the case) and, in my estimation, they well deserve the awards they’ve won as an organisation. 5*

Brilliant Property Manager now Team Leader!

We would like to leave a very positive review for Josh, who managed both my flat and my husband’s as our property manager and was our main point of contact throughout.

Josh consistently communicated with us promptly whenever any issues arose, always taking the time to explain the situation clearly and offer practical options for resolving them. He is friendly, attentive, and highly professional, with excellent communication skills.

What stood out most was his ability to see problems through to resolution quickly and efficiently. He was always available when we needed support with tenant-related matters and regularly went above and beyond to assist us.

We are also very happy with Hello Neighbour as our lettings agent—our experience with them has been excellent and far surpasses any high street letting agents we have previously dealt with.

We are both extremely happy to have had Josh as our property manager and truly appreciate all his hard work. His recent promotion is very well deserved, and we wish him every success in his new role.

Not enough stars in the Galaxy to tell you how good they are!

This is the first time that I have employed Hello neighbour after a recommendation from a Times journalist. Right from the start they were brilliant. Patient, efficient, effective and everyone knew what they were doing. They were very helpful in enabling me to choose an appropriate tenant even when I would have made a mistake in choosing an inappropriate one.

Good overall, but could be more proactive

They're pretty good but you need to set out what you need and deadlines as they are not very proactive. Not a complaint, as they are not the most expensive property management company but less worry-free than I was hoping. They will escalate issues and look into them if needed and are always polite.

I had a very positive experience with

Hello Neighbour. The process was smooth, well organised, and handled professionally from start to finish.
Rebecca was especially helpful throughout. She was responsive, clear in her communication, and made everything feel straightforward and stress free.
Overall, the team was efficient, supportive, and easy to deal with. I would happily recommend Hello Neighbour to anyone looking for a reliable and professional letting experience.

The team and platform made it incredibly easy for us to navigate our first property rental experience!
From keeping us advised about viewings and progress through the whole process, it really was a relatively straightforward experience.

Poor communication!

Hello Neighbour are marketing a neighbour’s house for rent. Saw a man taking pics of the property at 11.30 last week so emailed Hello Neighbour to kindly suggest maybe the owner ups his security on this empty property. No reply to my email so called them. Met with a negative response - not seen my email! I give up… thought I was doing the neighbourly thing!!!!!

Non-UK resident landlord


Let’s start with the fact I don’t live in the UK anymore, so trusting my property manager is vital for my peace and stress levels. Great experience with the level of responsiveness and issues management- nothing is too much to ask and I feel I’m thoughtfully represented with the tenants. Haven’t had issues with Hello Neighbour level of service so far, and I have been using them for 4 years. In particular, my account manager Marie-Ann has been outstanding in her communication, suggestions on resolving problems with the property and tenant, very proactive in contacting engineers, sending handyman, talking to the building association and keeping them accountable and active to honour their responsibilities of the external parts of the block of flats. Overall, I’m very happy with Hello Neighbour property management, especially after having a fair amount of issues with my flat during these 4 years, that they’ve dealt with, taking all the stress off me and really working hard to get all fixed- I truly appreciate that! Thank you Marie-Ann and Josh!

Positive tenant find experience

I used Hello Neighbour’s Get Rented Pro service to find a new tenant, including viewings, because I no longer live near my rental property. The service I received was excellent, with regular and clear communication throughout from Isabella. I was informed about optional extras but never pushed to use them, and HN were helpful in sorting a hands-off transfer of keys between tenants via a Key Nest. I will use HN again in future.

5 star services from Team Hello Neighbour

The whole process and experience have been excellent- from requesting the viewing to putting down deposit to moving into rental accommodation, to liaising with the agency regarding any matters. Rebecca and Josh from the agency have been very helpful, efficient and true professionals in their field. I would give 7 stars if I could. Second to none customer service and support from Hello Neighbour Team.
