From Alton all the way to Central Scotland and the products still turned up chilled. Fed ex did the delivery, an hour later than scheduled but I cant fault the well packaged products. Proper village sausage is on the menu tonight, making Spetsofai, if you know, you know. 5 stars.

Had a delivery from Hellenic grocery,very nice & friendly Driver,goods came on day as the firm said they would, wrapped perfectly,have given Hellenic 5/5 thank you will order again

Excellent authentic products and great service, would not hesitate to order again! Express delivery was paid for which was 1-3 days and my order came the next day, with a phone call from the driver when he was close to delivery. The only downside was that I couldn't track the order to know it had been dispatched ahead of this, which would have been helpful. Other than that the food products were perfect for a family gathering which sparked happy memories of Cyprus. The company is responsive to email enquiries within their opening hours if you do have any questions.

I have been ordering from this company for years. Their customer service is outstanding, their products are brilliant and the arrival of the products to my door is always quick and efficient.

Email received apologising and a refund was issued. I would use this company again.

My products were packed well and I felt at ease through great communication about deliveries.
I am disappointed that the Merenda I ordered was substituded for another brand, as were the biscuits I ordered. This may not bother others, but as a neurodiverse parent of children excited about recieving our order, this was an issue. We will enjoy the rest of our order and this has not put me off ordering again. I didn't see an option to opt out of substitutions but will check carefully next time.

I have recently started buying from this online shop. I have to say I am impressed with delivery times. Products are excellent, and prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth trying.

Good:
* my order arrived quickly. Placed on the 14th, it arrived via a very polite courier on the 16th.
* the kantaifi is very good.
* the chilled items (hummus, taramosalata) arrived chilled.
Less good:
* the melomakarona had a Best Before date of over a week ago.
* the mastic drops (for chewing) had been replaced, unannounced, with mastic powder in a little plastic baggie. It both looks dubious, and is useless to me.

Edited on 1st March to add that Anna from Hellenic Grocery contacted me promptly via email, both refunding me for the melomakarona and the chios mastiha drops, and giving me a discount code for any future shop, valid until October this year. She did not ask me to amend my review, but I feel it only fair to do so, given the excellent customer service shown.
And the kantaifi really is excellent. ;)

Really great and helpful customer service. They stock the only gluten free taramaslata I’ve found (mum is coeliac)

Discovered the ifantis brand whilst in Crete and was delighted to discover I could order from a UK stockist.

Third time I have ordered and had prompt service.
Ordered New Year's Eve, at 6am, and delivered by one o'clock.

That surprised me, being New Years Eve.

I placed my first order with Hellenic Grocery on December 22nd at 1045pm. Hoped for it to arrive before Christmas but didn’t really think there was a chance as I’d left it so late.
I was genuinely shocked and delighted when it arrived less than 14 hours later, delivered by a charming gentleman in a Hellenic Grocery van, wishing my family a happy Christmas and asking if I spoke a little Greek! A genuinely lovely experience and great produce too.

Wonderful Greek tastes will transfer you straight to your favourite taverna.
When asking a question about freezing products delivered they came straight back to me, but suggest contacting Hellenic Grocery before ordering to ascertain shelf life.

A FANTASTIC experience package arrived real quick & was packed very well indeed & the ice packs used were still frozen solid & getting 25% off for Black Friday was great specially with free delivery. Shall definitely use again in the future.

The food always arrives packaged well. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Hellenic food to bring a little bit of Greece to your home.

Ordered recently a few different products, however for one of those, I did order 15 quantities. Taken a day off from work on the delivery date (which was super fast to be honest) and when I have received the productswas all good except the one with 15 quantities. They have sent me a wrong product and instead of 15, they have sent 9. Not very happy but I have called them and I was assured that they will come after 4 days to swap the wrong product with the correct one. I did take another day off in order to receive the order but surprise surprise, this time was correct quantity but again wrong product. I can understand doing a mistake once is normal but doing the same mistake twice to the same customer looks like has been made on purpose. I am customer of this company for so many years (more than 10) and I can count on my fingers of my one hand how many times they haven't messed with my order. I am sorry but you have one job to do

Received great service with our first order. Delivered promptly and well packaged in appropriate frozen food container. I can recommend Hellenic Grocery to other buyers and we will certainly use them again.

I looked for a trust pilot review before ordering but there was none, so after delivery, I thought I would give them an honest review.
I ordered a selection Halva , Pasturma, Backlava etc, which was a descent price and authentic. The sweets are the best I have tried from any market or shop bought, the Revani had too much syrup in the base for me and I could not taste the texture and taste of the semolina so took it in to work to give away. The Kantaifi also had about too much syrup but had the right texture and tasted delicious , yum. Delivery was prompt, delivered with cool bags and protected in the box, well done there. One item was not delivered Koulouro which I got an immediate automatic refund. Could do with adding Apple Pay but PayPal was a good alternative. Well done Hellenic Grocery!
