I have to say Tom from Heightvale has been outstanding, his communication, advice and work has been superb.
Additionally, the quality of his work has been excellent.
As a result, the process was seamless and made so much more convenient.
Appalling !! Shame i can't leave ZERO
Appalling shame i can't leave ZERO , 2-3 wks to repair a sofa has turned into 14wks so far, they prepared the sofa to be resprayed then didn't spray it, then tried to return it to me in this condition , looked as though it had been dragged out a skip! Now they claim this is wear and tear...my backside!! and that the insurance company will not pay for further repairs, they already charged over £450 to repair a zip and a broken strap on the footrest, absolute shambollick service and I'm still bloomin waiting !!!!! I WANT MY SOFA BACK RESRAYED AND BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!! I HAVE WAITED LONG ENOUGH

Due to the nature of the work that needed doing we moved out for a month, of which no one for 2 weeks doing any work. Constantly being fobbed off when they did bother answering the phone calls.
No urgency at all, communication skills non existent , work that needs finishing, damage done while completing the job.
Shambolic.
They carried out repair work on behalf Homebase kitchen fitting.
They carried out repair work on behalf of homebase poor workmanship. Although the work seemed to be good, after 2 years the same problem left by Homebase reocurred in a different place (blowing of a worktop joint). I have now tried to contact this company 3 times with no response at all. They don't appear to be interested in customer follow up.
Flooding repairs
Many thanks for the great job you all did to sort out my house after the flooding drama . All concerned who came to my house were courteous pleasant and very professional. A great team . I was kept informed at regular intervals about what was happening either bis a very pleasant phone call or by the lads doing the work . Many many thanks to you all .. very much appreciated

Absolutely one of the worst firms for total lack of care and total shambolic organisation. Awful Awful Awful.
As part of an insurance claim my mum's furniture and belongings were stored with them on instruction from Axa.
The distance from Bolton to my mum's house is some 320 miles - which was utterly ridiculous as my mum had no access to things that she needed for over 16 months.
They returned a smashed TV, a broken and scratched dresser, another unit with a huge chunk out of the top, a bleached/ruined expensive sofa bed, no sign of an ottoman with family photos in and no sign of all of the cushions for her conservatory furniture. She was told it was stolen, then oh no, we lost it, then oh no, it was flood damaged and we binned it!!
The furniture was not even secured to the side of the van when it arrived back from its 320 mile journey.
Getting compensation from them is like getting blood from a stone. They have returned the dresser 3 times as each time the repair was inadequate and now it has come back it doesn't look like its the same dresser !!
The firm are a total joke and need a nice spot on Watchdog !
Avoid like the plague.
A shambolic uncoordinated business
A shambolic uncoordinated business. Heightvale Bolton Ltd was contracted by Admiral insurance via agents to assist me in sorting flood damage to my home. Communication had almost invariably been initiated by me, Four visits by their representatives to my home meant I had to repeat the history of the damage, none of them seem to have communicated with each other. Promises to effectively remove the damaged goods was a disaster in itself. My circular saw used by the joiner sent was broken, a promise was made to reimburse me is still awaited four weeks later. They profess to be professional and expert, was a delusion they live in.
