On a whole a find the discounts can be really good. This review is based on recent experience hence 3 stars. I was looking for a code for airport parking which I received however I found it was more expensive with HSD code. I got it cheaper without code. This is not down to HSD however maybe they need to review some of the company’s they advertise as not always cheaper.

Move expensive car insurance.
I joined Health Service Discounts recently. I am a NHS Blue card holder.
My car insurance is due for renewal, and have been going on the comparison sites to get quotes and decide which is the lowest cost and best option. Since I joined HSD I thought I would give them a go thinking their quotes may be a little lower. I logged into my HSD account and proceeded to get a quote, HSD use quotezone platform to get quotes.
But, the quotes from HSD were not cheaper than gocompare, and comparethemarket, they were more expensive for like for like policies, from the same insurance companies - why is that!!!. This was very disappointing. You would expect genuinely lower quotes from HSD.
I given 1 star review as I am extremely disappointed with their quotes. It now makes me think about how genuine their discounts actually are.
Not sure I will be using this site again, and a warning to every NHS worker, don't rely on HSD, go direct to comparison site and get quotes, you might find you make a saving!!!!

So many discounts at great % savings
I am so grateful to HSD for their effort in securing discounts for such a wide variety of stores and at great percentages. I top up my card every month and always check before shopping if I can secure a discount. The weekly emails with the top deals are really useful as they've reminded me when I needed a new cooker, trainers etc. Many thanks and congratulations on your great work!
