Great product and great customer service
I don't understand all the negative reviews. The product is great and their customer service is equally good.
I purchased 2 pillows as I wanted to get a true orthopedic pillow. I have gone through many types of pillows (foam, down, synthetic fibre) and so far none are great for me. As mentioned, I was required to test the pillow with the plastic to preserve the product seal. I was able to determine that the #27 was too firm for me. While it took a bit to get use to the contour, I must say their pillow has given me a good night's sleep.

When I ordered the pillow online staff suggested a firmer pillow
When I ordered the pillow online, it was suggested that my pillow should be a soft pillow. However the staff at Headleveler called and suggested it be changed to a more firm pillow. Once it arrived, when I tried the firmer pillow in the plastic I couldn't get a good idea of how it would be. I slept on it without the plastic and unfortunately woke with a really sore neck and the pain in my neck lasted a week. I found that the pillow was too hard. I was hoping it would be more comfortable.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you find your pillow too thick. The Queen # 21 pillow should have been a good fit.
There are different ways to use the pillow. For instance, both surfaces of the pillow are not the same. One is meant for uniquely side sleepers, and the other surface is for both side and back sleepers. If you need any kind of help and/or explanation, please do not hesitate to contact us. In fact, we have a very friendly customer service team, and had you contacted us, we certainly would have been willing to assist you.
We are here to help you if you have any questions or want to make sure you are using it correctly. Please keep an eye out in your emails, I have a few suggestions for you to help soften up the pillow.

Close to perfection
First, thank you Miss Désirée Robillard. Spot on, everything.
After close to 2 months of use I can give a review. The 4 stars aren't 5 because of the import taxes and shipping. In no way related to the Headleveler, but this way I guess I can call the future customers to this point. To Portugal, it was 63€ for the shipping (but a record for delivery, took 5 days) and 75€ import taxes. Tryed it day one, as soon as it arrived (at around 16h00), I thought "they got it wrong, should be the higher one", but I was wrong. It is close to perfection. Been sleeping well, wake up rested, 5 to 8 hours of sleep is quite enough. So, thank you Headleveler, and again, thank you Miss Desiree for all (patience and expertise on the choice).

Excellent Pillow!!!!!!
I LOVE this pillow. It has changed my life in just 2 weeks of use. I don’t wake with neck tension anymore. I don’t have tension headaches anymore. I will buy this pillow over and over again!! I wish I had learnt about it years ago! Thank you so much for designing and manufacturing this pillow!

Best sleep ever! I have been using Ortho-Cerv pillows for 20 years and is what I recommend to all my patients.

Testing in Plastic?
Unfortunately this was a $200 gamble. Testing with the plastic on isn't exactly realistic. I selected the number/ size using the tool provided, was contacted before delivery and was advised that the king size pillow is harder and they bumped me down a size. Unfortunately this pillow is way too hard and I'm always coming off of the pillow because my body is protecting itself. Now I'm out $200 and still don't have a supportive pillow. Big mistake.

We reviewed the notes on your order and, when we reached out to you, we suggested the King # 18. It is understandable that you might be surprised to adjust the thickness to the # 18 but, given that we are the manufacturer of the pillow, we personally review all of the information you provide to make very sure we send you your best thickness.
Pillows can be exchanged if they are unopened. Since the pillow package has been opened, I have an idea that can help you.

I have been using headleveler pillows…
I have been using headleveler pillows for over 15 years and have been so impressed with their product. Their customer service was excellent. They go out of their way to make sure that you have ordered the correct item. My order was a gift and they checked past orders as well as personally contacting me to make sure I had the right size. Highly recommended, will not use another pillow.
