Their website sucks

Their website sucks. Barely has the products you want to look at. Makes the designers job way too difficult. They don't even carry some major brands. Modsy was way better because you could change out options yourself without having to wait days for your designer to do it. Waste of money

Product never received BAD customer service

I got a laundry countertop. Credit card was charged but I never got the product. Tried sending several emails through their website, no response. There is no phone to call. I am very frustrated and hoping that I have not lost my money.

I NEVER write reviews

I NEVER write reviews, however after spending 7 days trying to sort out what happened I am leaving a review. I ordered bar stools, did not realize they were an interior design company that orders from other vendors at the time paid in full. I got an email the next day saying the shipping was increasing 425.00 . I asked for a supervisor to increase my advertised price did not seem fair. They kept promising a supervisor to call and they just keep sending all these canned email messages. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, I can not EVER imagine using them to design a home for me if they can not even respond in the correct manner to my emails. I had to finally call the vendor to sort out my order which they can not locate either. My order was 2200.00 and no product or order has been received by me or the vendor. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HAVENLY, this is a total scam.

Okay / Very Slow / Design Factory

You can tell they are just having freelance designers try to churn things out as quick as possible. They must be working on dozens at a time. I asked questions to my designer but would never get answers on the things I actually need help with (Ex: what size/shape carpet would work in my room) they probably have products they need/like to push for commission. It's not the designers fault they need to try and make money. It took so long I just ended up buying most of my own stuff. In the end I got 2 pieces that my designer had chosen, but most of my room I just designed myself. Using ChatGPT was honestly better

Not Design Focus but Upsell Focus

Not Design Focus but Upsell Focus. We did the in-home experience with 2 rooms. When working with the designer I was excited but when I saw their output it just felt like a drag and drop room interior decor. They just plopped in furniture from the retailers they partner with no clear focus on design. Their focus was using their partners to upsell their furniture so they get commission. Didn't get a sincere feeling of wanting to design but push for their commission. I gave them my inspiration and made it clear to them what we wanted and it felt they just ignored our considerations and just kept our current layout and they updated it with furniture from retailers. I could have done this with any free interior design app online. It felt a low level design help at a mid-tier retailer. No real insight or inspiration. I was so disappointed with the experience. If you want true interior design go somewhere else. If you want a visual of a room with someone to plug and play with their 2D app with mid-tier retailer products then it's for you. Don't expect too much. I mean it could be the designer I worked with but I really felt it's just their business model.

After years of struggling to design our…

After years of struggling to design our living room, I finally found Havenly and had the incredible opportunity to work with Yoseika, their talented interior designer. From the start, Yoseika understood my vision and could not have created a more perfect design and vibe for our space. She brought clean, modern, unique ideas that captured exactly what I had been trying to imagine for our home. I had been trying to make the space cohesive, yet not matchup, not too trendy yet up to date, and the perfect mix of masculine and feminine to suit both my husband and I.
The final design is absolutely stunning—better than we could have ever imagined. Yoseika’s ability to transform our ideas into a cohesive, beautiful layout was beyond our expectations . She listened and made sure every element reflected our tastes and what I was hoping for.

Our living room design is perfect and I’m starting to buy all the stuff for it now and can’t wait for it to fully come together . It’s a perfect mix of style and comfort, gives off the coastal beach vibe we wanted without being cliche in any way that I’ve seen before. we couldn't be happier with the work she did. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about bringing your vision to life, I highly recommend Yoseika and Havenly. They’ve given us a space we’ll love for years to come!

I enjoyed working with my designer

I enjoyed working with my designer, Molly. She was responsive and helpful as we designed my living room. She had no issues revising the design after I changed my mind about placement of things. I like that the items in the room are linked to purchase as well. I would use this service again.

This app is such a scam. Do not waist your time and money on it. It’s Misleading and takes forever for your “designer” to be available. It’s a glorified Pinterest

virtual package-poor experience

Can only speak for the virtual package but unfortunately it’s been a terrible experience with lack of responsiveness or any sort of proactivity from the designer. There will be weeks in between hearing back and overall communication is poor. To be clear- the designer is nice but unfortunately was a waste of money and didn’t get any help with designing one room.

Molly was absolutely fantastic

Molly was absolutely fantastic. She got an idea of my design preferences immediately and I loved all of the concepts she sent. She was so fast to respond also. We only needed to tweak a few things but she knocked it out of the park. I can’t wait for my items to start arriving! Thanks Molly!!

No emails are ever sent. Took my $ and ran.

I just signed into the website and purchased a package. Set up the project. Logged out. And now I cannot access my account. They say they've sent emails but I get ZERO emails. Nothing. Nada. Can't reset password. Can't log in with email. I used their chat support service and they said they would get back to me BY EMAIL. Guess what? No fudging email. So now I just want a refund because its starting to feel like they stole my money.

Not off to a good start…

This is my first time using their services and not off to a great start. I’ve used Modsy in the past and unfortunately they sold their business so was in the market for a new company. I wasn’t told until after purchasing my package (4 room in house design) that it would take 6-8 weeks for a designer….

I’m currently trying to get a refund because I’m just over this. Can’t speak to anyone on the phone, and I’m not getting any updates. My dashboard isn’t the easiest to navigate through either…nothing is really encouraging me to stick it out so I’m just ready to look elsewhere that can start working on this project sooner.

Not recommended

Our designer was great, but the ordering/fulfillment process has been terrible. Havenly customer service is non responsive after you've paid. They say they work to make it a smooth process for you, but in our experience, once we paid for a lot of furniture, they never sent us updates on shipping, didn't help out with issues with the end merchants or warehouses, and generally didn't reply to our multiple emails asking for help.

Updated to note Havenly still hasn't emailed me, even though they said they would after my initial review a few weeks ago, and then claimed they did (but I have no emails from them or replies after mid-september, not even in spam). Frustrating that the only way to get in touch with Havenly is through reviews!

Ask for Alexandra!!!

Alexandra was amazing! She helped me design my bonus room. She was extremely helpful! She listened to me and was always open to modify the design until it was just right. She was very thorough and even followed up several weeks after the design was completed to make sure I received all of the furniture I had ordered. I would definitely work with her again on future Havenly projects!

Havenly took my money and ghosted. No designer or design services when/as promised.

I purchased an in-person design package for my new home a couple of weeks ago. The customer support person matched me with a designer and said they could set the start date on the 16th. They said to look out for the designer to reach out to me today. I've heard nothing from anyone, and after two emails still nothing. I'm not asking for special treatment or credits, just literally what I paid for. Also, on the site, I cannot find any record of having made my purchase or being matched with my designer. Yet, they have my money.

Literally all I want is access to the services I have paid for...and Havenly seems to lack sufficient motivation to do the very basic first steps to provide this access, much less do the bare minimum to earn customer trust.

The website and process is an unintuitive hot mess, and the other reviews are correct. You cannot talk to anyone. And, they'll take your money, and maybe? you'll be able to, eventually? maybe? have any contact with a real designer?

It seems they have provided services to others, so maybe this company isn't a scam, but I got scammed?

Update:
The response below says that they're available by phone if I request it. However, this does not seem to be true unless they make exceptions for negative reviews? Nowhere on the site do they say this, and my coordinator made it clear that they're only available via email. Nobody else reached out to me, so I'm pretty sure this is just a canned response to make it seem like they care.

My coordinator said that it's normal to not see any evidence of purchases until/unless? a project starts. No credits, literally nothing showing that I made any purchases. Havenly chooses not to proactively disclose this and acts like it's normal to not see online purchases customers make online, like any regular business. And apparently my designer was sick so instead of just letting me know, they didn't. The entire response was very gaslight-ey and highly unempathetic. Havenly clearly stands by their choices and sees nothing amiss with any of this--outside of a public response to a negative review with no real follow up. I find it hard to take such clownish behavior seriously.

I requested a refund which my coordinator did offer, and will see if/when it hits my bank without me having to go through my bank.

Turns out I can just shop from my Pinterest board, which is actually easier and more convenient than whatever this is (and free)!

Scammed

Scammed! Overcharged for incorrect item and customer service is mia! Ordered a PotteryBarn teen quilt and sham set for $310, but only received the quilt (which retails for $219). Contacted customer service right away via email and through website since you cannot speak to anyone on the phone, and never got a response. Avoid this company!
