She came up with a beautiful design which was sadly beyond my budget but then worked hard to adapt it and offer discounts to keep it within my budget.

We were refurbishing our house and needed advice about how to best utilise our space. We explained to Matt that we love to cook and entertain so we needed a kitchen that looked great but was also very functional. He drew up a very thoughtful design using the space effectively and making sure that appliances were in places that made sense. Matt displayed utmost professionalism throughout the entire process, always very responsive and with a high level of regard for top customer service. He’s a real expert in kitchen design.

The fit out was done with great care and the painting is truly a work of art.

I have just successfully ordered a kitchen from Harvey Jones in Chislehurst having started the process nearly three years ago at another branch in between the first Covid lockdowns. Life got in the way, as the saying goes, on several occasions but it all came right in the end. The first designer was ill and then left the company. There had been delays as a result but also because of Covid and I have to admit that I am not the easiest customer to deal with. I’ve lived in my house for thirty-five years, my 1980s kitchen is collapsing around me and this is the first new kitchen that I’ve ordered despite several failed attempts over three decades. So, the regional manager called to tell me the bad news about designer number one but advised me that Amy Young from their Chislehurst branch would be taking over the project. Amy is one of those rare people who light up a room. She is easy to deal with, always cheerful and positive and has more patience than anyone else I know. She is also a brilliant designer and I am absolutely delighted with the final kitchen design. Just after Amy’s first visit, the downstairs of my house flooded due to a blocked outside drain. That held up the design process for a year. Then my father had a fall and ended up in hospital and respite care miles away so there were more delays. Amy was consistently supportive and the design process moved along slowly but surely. Everyone I’ve spoken to at Harvey Jones over the years has inspired confidence and I trust that the installation process will now run smoothly. If not, I am confident that Amy will help me to resolve any problems.

Amy and the team proposed, refined and installed our gorgeous kitchen. Having used other brands for other renovations, and this being our forever home, we decided to use a Harvey Jones because of the attention to detail and workmanship. Amy listened to our brief and created, in our opinion, a masterpiece! The results speak for themselves.

We had a kitchen installed recently by Harvey Jones as part of a kitchen extension. Our kitchen designer, Amy Young worked closely with the builder to ensure that all went to the agreed timetable. We are delighted with the standard of work of all parties including the fitter and cabinet painter. Amy herself was very helpful and professional throughout the process and responded quickly to any matters that arose. I would recommend the company if you sre looking for a bespoke kitchen. Although it is an expensive outlay the quality of the end product is, in my opinion, excellent.

We had a Maple Harvey Jones kitchen installed about 20 years ago. It has done brilliantly but some of the wood finish was a little tired. Having been recently been able to move our washing machine out to a utility room we were able to have a new 3 draw unit and above counter cupboard installed, so we also had all the units repainted. It is like having a completely new kitchen. The work was carried out to the very highest standard and overall we are delighted. Amy and all staff really great and helpful. Would recommend them any time .

We worked with Amy in the Chislehurst branch, and have nothing but great things to say about the experience. From day 1, Amy advised, wasn't afraid to give her opinion, and suggest alternatives. She also liaised closely with our builder, which was invaluable with so much going on. The kitchen itself is stunning, and will hopefully last for years to come!

Amy at Harvey Jones in Chistlehurst was a delight to work with. Creative, flexible, always calm and cheerful despite working in very challenging circumstances (through the pandemic). There were a few hiccups along the way but she resolved any problems quickly and imaginatively. We already had a Harvey Jones kitchen which was 9 years old and Amy listened carefully to our wishes to reuse as much as possible when we did our kitchen extension. Amy created a stunning design which completely transformed our kitchen, keeping almost all of our old cabinets and appliances, and adding new elements for the bigger space. Harvey Jones stored our old kitchen during the build and then beautifully repainted the old and new cabinets in a stunningly different colour, with new handles. Making it all look immaculate. We are so delighted to have a brand new kitchen in the most sustainable way, having put nothing in landfill! We love it.

Amy has been amazing throughout the whole process, designing an amazing kitchen for us. She is original in her thinking and uses available space very well, suggesting ideas to us that we never considered and improved the overall layout, flow and design of the kitchen. Large refurbs are a daunting task but Amy and the wider team were incredibly professional and helpful throughout the process.

I have had my Harvey Jones Kitchen for about three years now; I am still delighted with it. In that time I have had a few minor issues which I have drawn to the attention of the Sales team at the Chiselhurst branch who fitted my kitchen. Regardless of when my call comes through, or how busy the fitters are, there is always a swift response. Recently one of my pan drawers wasn't shutting all the way, which I reported. It wasn't an urgent matter but HJ sent a fitter who travelled all the way from Chelmsford (I live in Beckenham) because the local fitters were all busy fitting kitchens. I would have waited but the HJ approach, which is unusual these days, seems to be 'if there is a job that needs doing we will do it ASAP'.
Because I had had an issue with this pan drawer previously there was an analysis of the problem prior to the visit, a 'runner problem' was diagnosed and a new set of runners was delivered to me the day before the fitter arrived. The fitter fitted these then checked all other drawers and doors, without being asked. He identified another couple of small things that needed some adjustment and dealt with them.
I could not have had better service had I been asked to specify it myself and this is my experience of all HJ fitters and the people behind it. They behave like a company who genuinely care about what they deliver and how it is delivered. For this reason if I had to have another kitchen (which I won't, because my one is perfect) I would choose HJ again.
