Having dreaded the whole idea of replacing a very old kitchen, I nervously made an appointment to discuss it with Hubert Subolski at Harvey Jones.
No more nerves! He is brilliant at his job; quick, funny, knowledgeable and insightful.
It was an absolute pleasure working with him.
When the time came for the kitchen fit, Gary installed it with the calm professionalism of someone who has done this work for many years.
Ricky painted our beautiful new kitchen perfectly.

It's important to note that Harvey Jones design and fit the kitchen but the customer must find their own builders for old kitchen removal, first and second fix.

We have just had our kitchen renovated and chose Harvey Jones after looking at a few different options. Hubert from the Battersea show room was great in helping us design the kitchen we wanted, and the installation went extremely smoothly with fitters/painters who were very professional and worked extremely diligently. Overall very happy with our new kitchen and the whole process.

Hubert and Juliet were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Hubert’s easy, calm nature combined with his design sense, responsiveness and extremely thorough and practical approach put us incredibly at ease and the finished product was fantastic. In Hubert’s rare absence Juliet was always on hand to step in and quickly problem solve and I cannot recommend them highly enough as a design team. The fitter for the kitchen also did an excellent job and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I’ve ben really impressed by this company and the attention Hubert gave to our project. They have a lovely showroom in Heal’s in London which I really recommend going to. The kitchens are beautifully made and Hubert has a really good design eye.

I had an entire new kitchen designed and installed in September 2023 and I want to give a shout out to Hubert Sobulski who I first met in one of the Harvey Jones retail locations. He is extremely professional, smart, good sense of humor (required for any home redesign project) and great on follow-up. I was originally going to try and go with an IKEA kitchen but by chance happened into Harvey Jones (had never heard of it) and for a comparable amount of money got a bespoke looking kitchen instead.

My partner and I are first time home owners and have bought a doer-upper. We have very little knowledge of kitchens and choosing a kitchen. Hubert from the Northcote Road shop was incredibly patient and helpful, and talked us through the different options available to us. Last minute I couldn't attend the free consultation that we had arranged , my partner went ahead and did the meeting without me and Hubert was then kind enough to do another consultation meeting with me at the weekend and fit me in around his busy schedule. Hubert was really very helpful and generous with his time and knowledge, and passionate about delivering a good service.

Hubert and the team really helped us design our dream kitchen. He listened to our requirements and asked all the right questions about lifestyle and how we wanted to use the space. Couldn’t be happier with the finished result!

What a beautiful kitchen we now have. We had looked at many options before deciding to go with Harvey Jones. Having visited the showroom in Battersea and meeting with our designer Hubert, we were sold! From the initial design to completion, the Harvey Jones team have been truly professional. We did have some minor issues with the first installation team. However, this was rectified extremely efficiently. A true sign of a good company is how they correct something that has gone wrong. Our issues were all resolved promptly and professionally. The finished kitchen is truly wonderful, we still come down each morning and smile at just how lovely it all looks.

I met Hubert, the designer in the Battersea store, to discuss my kitchen replacement. He could not have been more welcoming and generous with his time; he kindly provided a free initial design and detailed costing. I liked the design and materials, but HJ seemed expensive and somewhat standardised compared to the competition. In the end, I went with a different designer, a smaller one not the high street, who I felt offered more value and flexibility for the money.

We are so pleased we went with Harvey Jones Battersea, having visited on a whim. We were surprised at its value for money, as we had thought a bespoke kitchen would be out of our price range. The quality is excellent, it looks fabulous, but the best thing was dealing with the designer, Hubert. He made the design process easy, flexible to our changing demands, listening to what we wanted, but adding really helpful ideas and suggestions. He just, seemingly effortlessly, knows what looks 'right' and what works well. He did a home visit, which proved invaluable when he was the only person to notice a huge mistake that our builders had made- he literally saved our whole project! But most importantly, we now have a delightful looking and wonderfully functioning, well-designed kitchen.
The fitters and painters were also great- super professional, expert and did a great job. 5 stars all round!

had a very expensive Harvey Jones Kitchen fitted back in 2011. They made an enormous error on the design plans which were only picked up when the fitters were actually installing - in that the designer had misjudged the size of the chimney stack opening and so the cupboards either side of the cooker would not fit in with the hidden draws that had been made.

Due to the absence of a kitchen and small family I reluctantly accepted their solution of fitting the whole side of the kitchen about 40-50 cms into the kitchen than the original plan and so not using the chimney stack space for the cooker at all. This meant that the lights were no longer above the breakfast bar and the space for the dining table very squashed. We had to resolve this by having a much narrower bespoke dining table made to fit the space and it is still very tight :(.

No apology was formally given however when they asked to take promotion photos once the kitchen was finished -I had very high end finish work top and back panelling I declined.

Roll onto 2023 and the strut holding up one of the top cupboard snapped and literally landed on my head. The other cupboard the gas had gone and the cupboard door no longer stayed up when opening. Also the runners on the bottom draws had come lose so the bottom draws on the right slightly cave in. I contacted Harvey Jones via phone and e mail with photos for assistance - I was told that the kitchen was no longer in guarantee, however on perserverence they eventually agreed to order spare parts and I duly paid for these.

I said I would like a Harvey Jones fitter to assess and fit. They advised they had just had a Harvey Jones sale and no fitters were available for at least 8 weeks. The parts that arrived were wrong including lots of runners and an error made with the delivery. Upon contacting HJ again they advised that the parts I actually needed were discontinued what I actually needed was a 'part a and part b' but they were out of stock. No more detail than this - it had come from head office?

I then got an expert to review for me - who advised actually the other strut cupboard door was split and it was only a matter of time before it snapped to. These are heavy cupboard doors to fall down! He advised that probably a better solution was to remove doors completely and have new ones made with hidden hinge - far safer and stronger. This is a very expensive option and I am currently awaiting quotes. I am keen however the cupboard doors to match the design as this would detracted from the look of the kitchen. I would like HJ to provide the solution how to fix? I feel HJ as the designer and fitter of my bespoke kitchen that 'lasts a life time' should assistance in this project.

I have repeatedly e mailed HJ for assistance I was advised the original designer had left the company and they only had limited plans of my kitchen on file.

I have now asked for someone more senior to come and review the problem and advise how to resolve.

I will let you know how I get one, but I would advise anyone considering HJ kitchen to really go over ALL the plans with a fine tooth comb and avoid the fancy cupboards and draws which are likely to have problems and expensive/tricky to fix.

Harvey Jones on Northcote Road, South West London did an exceptional job at designing and fitting our kitchen. Their attention to detail, excellent communication and advice made the project very straightforward and stress free. Additionally they were always at hand to help solve any questions or worries I might have had. I highly recommend them.

I chose my kitchen from Harvey Jones in Battersea. The service was great from start to finish. Hubert made choosing all the details really easy. All the staff involved were wonderful and the quality of the kitchen is brilliant. I am very very happy with my new kitchen and the whole process.

We haven't yet purchased a kitchen from Harvey Jones as we are still making a decision but we have only had a positive experience so far from the Clapham branch. Hubert was extremely helpful from our first visit. We hadn't been to any other kitchen shops at this point so needed a lot of guidance and we left feeling very well informed and excited about our project. The subsequent pre comission meeting was also very useful. Hubert was approachable, friendly and very knowledgeable. Thank you!

Excellent throughout, Ella in particular was incredibly helpful from first visit to showroom to signing off final works, and really got a sense that there was some personal pride in the finished product. Finished kitchen is also excellent, exactly what we wanted. The minor inevitable snags were resolved pretty much immediately when raised, and would also add that Juliet was very responsive to all queries raised and made sure everything was answered or dealt with quickly.

I read the positive reviews for Harvey Jones with envy as unfortunately my experience has been marked with frustration, disappointment and remorse at choosing them.

We engaged Harvey Jones in May with an agreed install target date of beginning of October. Initial discussions with our Designer were great, with lots of meetings with some useful suggestions and advice. As we got closer to the deadline for executing the order process for an October delivery we had to continually press the Designer to complete his plans (who kept assuring us we had lots of time). At the last minute were given the plans to sign off with assurances that some outstanding items eg worktop choice could be addressed later. Within two weeks of the order being processed we were informed that the lead time had increased due to unforeseen circumstances. At this point things really went downhill. The Designer resigned and we were assigned a new Designer from the Islington office with assurances that she would provide the attention needed to fulfill our kitchen order.
It is almost December and we are still without a kitchen due to design flaws and unfinished work.
The most frustrating item is that the Quooker tap we were sold by Harvey Jones cannot be plumbed in because the sink unit is too short to house the Water filter unit (needed because of the hard water in London). When I raised this with Harvey Jones their suggestion was for me to get my plumber to just cut a hole in the bottom of the unit.

There were and are many other issues I could list and although everyone I have talked to has been polite and considerate and acknowledged that I have been badly let down we are not only waiting on the issues to be addressed but haven't even been given a date when they will be.

On a plus side the fitter and especially the painter were great.

Unsure if it was coincidence but received a date for the fitters next visit, fingers crossed now.
