I waited two years before purchasing my HarvestRight freeze-dryer. I had been pining after one, but I just couldn’t justify the cost. I finally broke down and got the medium size one (with a premium oil pump), and I’ve been using it A LOT! I absolutely love it, and wondered how I lived without it! I am not a survivalist, I simply enjoy the texture of freeze-dried foods — especially fruits and vegetables (and ice cream sandwiches!). I travel regularly and find it hard to get healthier foods, so having some packets of freeze-dried fruit and vegetables mixes to take with me is perfect! I always have healthy foods with me! The HarvestRight is so easy to use and takes all the complexity out of the process. I like to freeze my batches in our freezer ahead of time, stick the trays into the freeze dryer when prompted, and let it do its magic! So easy, and the results are amazing! I’ve done 4 batches already, and they’ll all been perfect! I also bought the WiFi attachment, which is very worth it for the convenience. It was easy to set up and works great! It’s a superbly designed and built machine that, in and of itself is complex, but easy for anyone to use! If you like freeze-dried food and don’t like to pay the ridiculous prices in the store, I can’t recommend a HarvestRight enough!

This has been such an awesome addition to our home, particularly for healthy snacks for our 4 kids. So far we've done yogurt bites, breast milk, fruit, veggies. It makes shelf stable, mess free food to throw in a diaper bag or school lunch and my kids love the crunch!

My father recently gave me a brand new Harvest Right Freeze Dryer as a gift, and I LOVE it! I’ve been eating a Plant-Based diet for over 50 years and having a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer has made it even MORE FUN and HEALTHY!
We make a Vegan Cheese sauce, using Raw Cashews that is delicious. I Freeze Dried it and now we have a Dry Cheese Crumbles that are so good on toast, on salad, on veggies and so much more!
Our children and grandchildren LOVE the apples, pineapples and bananas! My father is 87 and thinks how the end product just melts in your mouth is so nice!
I’ve been making Carob Candy Bars, and I have Vanilla Candy Bars in the Freeze Dryer right now. I made Pina-Colada Candy Bars, and they are so good!
We love to camp and there are so many things you can make to take camping. We make a Vegan Frank Tamale and it’s just WONDERFUL freeze dried!
I highly recommend the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. If you like to eat healthy, you will find so many wonderful ways to use it!

Our freeze dryer was delivered this week, and we couldn’t wait to use it! Originally, we bought it, just for fun, like freeze drying ice cream sandwiches, taffy, and all kinds of candy! But after reviewing the owners manual, I got super excited to try all kinds of different foods. I was so impressed with the quality of the unit, and all the accessories that came with it. When I picked up the trays, I couldn’t believe how sturdy, durable and strong they were. My advice is to follow the manufacturers advice on readying the unit for freeze drying, to eliminate potential problems. I’m super happy with it!

We’re absolutely loving having the Harvest Right HRC 100 as part of our operations - it’s a fantastic machine, and the support from the Harvest Right team is excellent.

I bought a Small Home Pro unit and love how compact it is — it fits perfectly in my space. I did have some initial concerns about the seal, but the customer service and technical support teams were easy to reach, responded quickly, and resolved the issue right away. That level of support really reassured me and made me feel confident in my purchase. I’m excited to start preserving my food more effectively while keeping the nutrients intact.

I just completed my 3rd bath with the Small Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. I really like the results. But the start-up process was unnecessarily complex and frustrating. I could not get the door to seal, so there was no vacuum. After many YouTube videos and calls with their Tech Support (very good), they provided me with several in-house "hacks" to use to get a strong seal, which also required me to get some special tools. It shouldn't be so hard. This is a $2000 machine and it should be engineered and robust enough to get a tight seal without all these home remedies. I also had issues getting wi-fi set up, but what a difference it mkes. So overall, now that i'm set up, I really like it, but they need better QC out the door.

The customer service was helpful and trouble shooted my issues and got it resolves quickly with updated software and a premium pump.

When you purchase something new you want it to work perfectly for a long time. For many reasons that doesn’t always happen and when it does you want the manufacturer to make it right. I recently purchased a medium Harvest Right freeze dryer and used it several times before experiencing a glitch. I don’t know what the specific cause of the glitch was but the timing of it happening immediately after it was running during a power outage. I am not here to praise the machine (which I do love by the way), I am here to praise the customer service I received after having a problem. I can’t recall ever having such good service when I have had problems with other products in the past. The process to make my machine whole again took trial and error over a number of days. I had the same representative throughout the whole process and she provided me with lots of helpful resources. While we were in the initial phase, she either stayed on the phone with me while I went through a few steps or scheduled a specific convenient call back time. This type of customer service will keep me as a returning customer for a long time into the future!
