Bad Customer Service

I had a service request which was an offline shopping, I opened a ticket in their discord server, a few hours later a customer support agent answered my question in a way that made me have more questions, no details nothing, 3 mins after their reply I asked my questions and I got ignored, few days later the ticket is still open and still being ignored, if this is how they treat new customers what about their current customers? thankfully I didn't get the chance to use their services.

Review

If you don’t want the hassle of navigating Korean websites and don’t mind paying extra fees and taxes this service might seem convenient. However be aware that your order can be cancelled at any time even after you’ve placed it.

This is particularly frustrating when it comes to exclusive merchandise which often becomes impossible to obtain elsewhere except through resellers. Because of this risk I would recommend using the service with caution.

Super slow and bad customer service

I would not recommend buying anything from Harumio. Here is my experience with them. I ordered some merchandise from them as a Christmas gift. This order was placed on November 1st and is expected to arrive in time, considering it wasn't a pre-sale item. Processing time takes 5-10 days and shipping 10-15 days so that should be sent to me with time to spare. Well it had said "ready to ship" on there website for almost 2 weeks and it past the 15 day processing mark, so I email them (keep in mind they don't have number to call) in my email I kindly ask them when my order is going to ship. I am met with an AI sounding response, saying I'll get an email confirmation when my order ships. I'm like okay whatever, I wait a few more days and email again.. same ai sounding response. I wait again now its the first week of December and no update no shipping confirmation, I email a long response I ask to just get refunded if my order isn't going to get shipped soon, and finally I get a human sounding response and my order is shipped the next day. Shipping is supposed to be 10-15 days I shipped just in time where it should arrive on or by Christmas eve which is cutting it close but sure. Anyway the shipment didn't clear customs and I had to wait days to receive a refund. This was a waste of my time and their customer service is terrible.

Long awaiting time

Long awaiting time, but all the rest is good! Everything arrived as it should, pouch for one item was damaged in a way that was not caused by shipping - but its fault of someone not opening the pouch to check the damage (ripped foil element). All items apart from pouch arrived in excellent state!

You can have either bad or good experience

Hit or miss with them. I have ordered from them a handful of times. While I received my package, I did got a product that came damage from shipment. I didn’t want to bother since it will end up being more expensive than what it already and accepted the flaw.

Some of their items have shipping included without worries, but there’s no disclosure how true the shipping amount really is…other small items are add ons so you can or may still end up paying more for calculated shipping… My friend also wants to input their small take on cancellation fee from their experience. It’s understandable since harumio secure it, but it’s not a complete lost when it’s a hot and sought merchandise. The cancellation should be more fair especially for a high demand product that will be sold out. They think it’s greedy of harumio

mostly bad

good, but bad. the good is that the items come packed well and they have lots of variety, and i guess the ship time isnt too long. the bad, the customer service is at times horrible, i was ignored for almost two weeks once until i messaged them again TWICE and they were then backhanded and bland, and the combine shipping service is a scam. they told me when you combine shipping it refunds the entire shipping price you paid for your second item, it doesnt, it refunds the *difference* in shipping, which for me was £5, and they didnt say this at all. whats the point in combining at all?? when i ask customer service about how my discounted shipping price suddenly vanished, they kept changing the subject and dancing around the matter to avoid answering it, because the truth is they upcharge shipping to profit and dont want you getting discounts. if you ask two questions, they only answer the one you sent latest, so you have to then keep asking, and they take forever to respond sometimes even though theyre online and had just answered you. furthermore, they had certain items listed for a day, took them off, then weeks later after saying it wont be back online, they listed it again for double the price. they said they were restocking other items on a certain date, even put it in the product description, then never actually restocked and said they had no plans to, yet its still in the description. they also have no bad reviews on their site because they dont allow them to be posted and instead email the person who gave the review. one more thing, because i have to rant, why do they charge twice the price of shipping for certain things when theyre both available? i put two items in my cart to get discounted shipping, one regular and one add on (they TELL you thats how you get discounts) instead its charging me twice the usual price for 2 different shipments despite both items being in stock.

Don't ignore the horrible reviews like I did

Bought multiple sets of random figures.
One came broken. Asked for a replacement or a refund for just that one.
They said no (: it's a random figure so I can't just buy a replacement myself and even if I could they refused to compensate for the broken item.
The shipping also took like 6 months, (2 months after the item was already in stock) (: horrible customer service. They ask you to return the whole set if you want a refund and you have to pay the $40 shipping cost to get your $80 refund. Joke of a company.

Good shop until it isn’t

Tried their marketplace service, checked orderstatus and all 4 items were said to be out of stock(despite STILL being available to buy on the website). Support said nothing until I enquired and were unhelpful when I suggested solutions like getting a refund and combining with another order to not lose out on shipping, then straight up stopped replying.

They upcharge products/shipping, make you wait months for items and very much do not care for customers at all—if you wonder how they only have 5 star reviews on their site, any negative views on their own website aren’t published.

Terrible service

I made an order thinking that the shipping included import taxes but it actually didn't and I discovered it by myself after asking multiple times.
I will try to get PayPal to solve the dispute cause they ask you a 30% fee to get a cancellation. Do not buy

Do not use Harumio for large orders

Hello all!
Long time coming—but please do NOT use Harumio for your large purchases. I’m sure everyone who has bought only a handful of items has had an okay experience, but as someone who had two boxes shipped as a single order, I found the lack of care and customer service to be appalling.
Please use a different service from Harumio. I had one box not even have ANY packing materials in it. The rest were crammed together in the second box. I didn’t even get the bonus stickers from my cart!!
I was told I’d be provided updates on certain goods, but when the time came as an early buyer, I was left in the dark and given zero immediate compensation other than an offer for a discount on a FUTURE order. I am begging you to spare yourself the drama of funding other people’s positive experience/freebies and use a different service or personal shopper if you want to actually get what you paid for. They’ll just ignore half the things your emails say and provide infinite excuses.
I also tried to post my review to their site, using my review links, but it looks like they might not post negative reviews, because I see reviews posted after mine but not mine, which is extremely concerning.

They are not honest at all..

Stay away from this shop if you are an European.

I bought something for around 40-50 $, they advertise with free shipping but apparently that is subjective, I paid $35.
They chose to sent it with Fedex, I did not choose that but okay.
The package had more than a month delay, and finally when it was shipped I had to pay custom fees.
According to Fedex the package was sent as DDP (duty free), so either Harum.io screwed up or Fedex did.
The custom fees are €33, so totally I paid around shipping costs of €70 for a €40 package.

Harum.io is not responding any more, but through my creditcard company I will get my money back.

Do Not Purchase From This Proxy Service

I chose DHL shipping for my pre-orders. When my order was finally shipped a week ago, they shipped it through FedEx instead, which is not only the carrier I didn’t choose, but it’s the last carrier I’d choose. I requested a refund for shipping, and I didn’t get a reply for two days; the reply said they refunded me for the difference in shipping. My items have not arrived yet, but I do not want a refund for the difference in shipping—I want a total refund for shipping. If I wanted to ship through FedEx, I would have chosen them. I want my $52 back or for the parcel to be returned to them, but they won’t respond to my support emails anymore. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Première commande mais pas la dernière

J'ai commandé récemment deux articles pour le moment introuvables en France (l'artbook et l'album d'Alien Stage) et j'en suis pas déçue.

La commande a été expédiée très vite (deux jours après je crois) et je l'ai reçue un jour plus tôt que ce qui était prévu (commandée le 22 janvier et reçue le 27 janvier(à préciser que c'était des articles qu'ils avaient en stock et non en précommande)).
Alors oui, les frais d'expédition sont élevées et j'ai eu des frais de dédouanement en plus (pour une commande en tout d'environ 114 euros, j'ai eu 33 de frais de dédouanement). Mais bon, j'ai pu les payer en ligne depuis DHL et tout c'est très bien passé. Pas d'autre frais surprise lors de la livraison.

Pour finir, je peux vous recommander ce site si des articles pas trouvables ailleurs si trouve. Les colis sont très bien protégés et arrivent dans les temps.

Missing items in the package

Originally I ordered 5 items, 2 were cancelled before the order was shipped and I got a refund. Already the expensive shipping was not worth it, but then they were supposed to ship out 3 items I paid for.. and I got only 2 items in the package.

Good but keep your order number

I was able to obtain a book that I would not have otherwise been able to receive, and it was shipped and delivered without waiting too long and in good condition. With this said, there was originally another item that was listed on their website that I also had in my order that was unable to be fulfilled. I was never notified of it not being in stock, however I could check up on my order code from time to time to see the order status and eventually just asked for a refund for the one item so I could still get my book. If you use this website, I recommend checking your order like this to see if it can be fulfilled because it did not seem to me that that was a possibility for the item I refunded. With that said, I did have a generally positive experience with the item that they did have and the website makes it easy to get a refund for items that aren’t marked as “ready to be shipped” in the status page. Additionally, the shipping is expensive, however that is to be expected when it comes to proxy services and I did not think that price was too different from others I have used.

Really disappointed and super bad…

Really disappointed and super bad customer service. I ordered two items from the website and from the same brand. One of them was out of stock and they did not even bother to notice me whether if I want to proceed further with the order or want to cancel it. I ended up have to check the order status by myself and realize the issue. Then I email them to cancel the whole order and get a refund. But they said they will charge 30% for the item that is not out of stock with the reason that “they already purchased it”. What is the reason for me paying anything if I did not do anything wrong. I explained the situation and they said they cannot do anything about it, not even say sorry and bother of explaining further.

Great costumer service

Unfortunately I found out one item wasn’t included in my package when opening it, but after contacting support they were very kind and still ended up sending the missing item, pretty shortly after contacting them, my way.

I tried using their proxy service and…

I tried using their proxy service and they failed miserably at securing my item. I tried to buy something really rare and hard to find and I was really excited to get it. The item gets sold out really quickly so I was hoping harum.io would hurry up and purchase because I already paid. But they like to take their time purchasing your item, so mine got sold out. Very disappointed.

UPDATE: I am shocked at the audacity for them not to refund my whole amount, infact they took a service fee which is absolutely ridiculous considering they did absolutely nothing to deserve it!? They didnt manage to buy my item, wasted my time for purchasing from their site and waiting 3 days for the refund AND NOW THEY DONT EVEN REFUND MY WHOLE AMOUNT!? I lost money without buying anything from them?? They actually cant do anything right. Worst proxy service ever.

Pre ordering on harumio

I heard many good things about harumio so I decided to preorder a limited edition set. When I saw everyone receiving their set I emailed them asking for an update on my order and they said it was out of stock even though I preordered and payed for it I’m just shocked how they didn’t even bother sending me an email to say that they ran out of stock. If I never realized that I had an order they would probably just kept the money. I’m just a bit mad because it was a limited edition now I can’t find it anywhere. But anyways this just from my experience I heard some other people have some good experiences. But I’ll definitely say don’t preorder from them.
