Great product line and fair prices BUT!!!!!!

Great product line and fair prices BUT WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. Had to pay 30% restocking fee / with gift card to spend for online purchase (no problem) . BUT when i tried to use credit I was going to buy 1 lb item $30.10 with shipping $64, unreasonable!!! How about $15? left 3 messages no call back! 2 emails nothing they can do about it! Finally get customer service and request for return call from someone in upper management. 5 days later still no call back. Next more to call BBB and Attorney General. I think they are waiting for me to disappear!!!

My records indicate your first email came on Jan 10, 2023, which was responded literally in an hour explaining the matter to you. We also tried discussing the same thing with you on phone several times. Some items unfortunately are expensive to ship even when the actual value or the weight of the product is less due to many factors like its proximity to your shipping location, dimensions, etc. These items are meant to be only picked up from our warehouse or ordered in bulk so we can send LTL and that way reduce/offer free shipping. Anyone trying to place an order for the same item will get the same shipping rate as you. Just because you have received store credit doesn't mean we are charging you any higher. You can try to add some other items and can still use the store credit. We offer very competitive shipping prices for a lot of other products, especially if ordered in bulk or LTL but for the specific item you were interested in and the quantity you requested, unfortunately, shipping prices were higher which is dictated by UPS a third party and we have no say in it. I know you are frustrated with everything and I apologize for everything but we honestly tried but couldn't bring the shipping prices down as I mention above they are given by UPS and we have no control on it.

First time using this company. Ordering online was easy! Email communication about the order and shipping came in box quickly! The product was received as expected! I look forward to ordering from Hardware & Moreee in the future!

Great product and service

We ordered ~13 oil lamps for our wedding and a few of them were damaged in transit. Customer experience was extremely responsive and helpful, re-shipping us the new items in time for the big day. Great product and great support. Highly recommend.

Very happy customer

I placed an order on line on Saturday, a day they were closed, and I just received the order. Today is Tuesday.
Everything I ordered is there. When I placed the order I thought the shipping was high but I am more than satisfied and I will be ordering from them again. I saved over $200 compared to Lowes or Home Depot prices.

Poor customer service

I ordered 7 items for my classroom. The shipping was expensive but I really needed them. When it arrived, only 6 were in the package. When I contacted customer service they told me they were no longer in stock yet I was able to re-order one right away. The shipping again was astronomical but I needed the additional one for my classroom table. They refused to pay for my additional shipping fee even though it was their mistake.
I would’ve never ordered them if I knew they were only going to send me 6 instead of the 7 I needed.

We understand that you are frustrated and wanted to voice your opinion out but I think we are going to repeat the same thing we explained to you in the email.

Our shipping prices seems higher for the smaller quantity / order value that is just because of our agreement with UPS. With the increase in the order value you wouldn't see the increase the shipping price just so much. For eg. If a customer places an order for $2.00 he/she might have to pay the minimum of $11.00 ( depending on which warehouse it is being shipped out from and the weight of the item) which is very high when compared to the order value. But we have had customer ordering power tools, electronics worth $1000.00 still sometime paying $15.00 for shipping. Having said that customers are fully aware of the shipping prices reflected at the checkout before they make payment and can choose to not purchase or contact us for any questions.


We have 13 distribution centers spread across the country and we always use the closest center to send items to our customer especially for smaller orders to limit the shipping prices as much as possible. The shipping prices that you pay is calculated based on the closest distribution center. When we are unable to fulfill the item we adjust the order by issuing the refund which we did in your case.

When you placed the second order since we did not have item in nearby distribution center the system chose the next closest DC that housed this item which is why you paid higher for 1 item.

We apologize for any inconvinience it might have caused to you but our only intention was to save you higher shipping price and hence we could not fulfill all quantity the first time and issued refund.

Great Experience!

I was shopping for 18 inch baseboard diffuser Vents, and the price here was about half price to what we were seeing local. After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase from them. However, I decided to go ahead and try them out, and I'm so glad I did! When I hadn't seen any shipping activity, I emailed them and they were quick with a response letting me know what was going on. I received my order in a very timely manner, product is good, heavy quality. Very happy with my 1st experience! Thank you Hardware and Moreee!!

I figured I would give them one more…

I figured I would give them one more try as their website says they have three items in stock that I need. And the prices they show are cheaper than others. I figured maybe its that they just cant handle a large order like my last one. So I order the three items and spend $133.87. Two days later I read an email.
"Your order has been canceled
Order #11239 was canceled at your request and your payment has been voided ."........LOL...I should have known better. I never requested the order to be cancelled. Now I know that it is a scam. They bait customers with LOW prices that are too good to be true to get you on their site but they cant deliver. Has to be illegal. FTC Will be the next stop.

Hello Dan,

After reading your first review and while investigating the matter I was quite surprised to see you placed a second order. That made me a question, why? After being so annoyed, why would you place the second order with us for the same items you placed under the first order ...

We sell bulk items in LTL and full containers to various wholesalers and distributors in the country so if you think $347.29 worth of orders is a size we cannot handle, you are greatly misunderstood. In fact, bigger orders (bulk quantities) are where our customers are able to get more value in terms of free shipping or in some cases special quantity discounts depending on the product value and its total weight.

I can see that you placed your first order on Friday, July 8th. at 8:38 pm after business hours and as per our policy we were able to process and ship your items out within two business days. Unfortunately, we were not able to fulfill one of the five items you ordered due to non-availability. We shared the UPS Tracking number with you on July 12, 2022. Tuesday, once the package left our warehouse.

Now your items were reported damaged in the shipping. Please note that UPS is a third-party shipping company we use to deliver our packages. We don’t have any say or in any way regulate their handling procedures. When the package is reported damaged in transit, we usually submit the claim. Once the claim is approved, credit is issued. However, because the items are bought from us, we assume full responsibility and work with UPS to get these issues sorted internally. In case there is a delay to resolve the matter, we issue a full refund to our customers, so they don’t have to wait while we work with UPS.

I can see that you were issued a full refund for the amount you paid.

On further reading your emails I can see you kept pressing on getting the items. Threatening us to leave a Bad Review and bringing the agencies. Dan, we never had any more items in stock in your area to reship your order. We did have some items on the west coast but shipping them out from CA to CT would only increase the chances of damage in transit since the items you ordered also included paint.

While we welcome any constructive feedback from our customers, please note that we cannot fulfill unreasonable demands like shipping the items when they are not in stock. It is because of your behavior you have been flagged in our system and hence the second order was canceled.

I also finally got an answer to my question about why you placed a second order with us.

No, you did not place second order to give us another chance but because you know that our offer was the best in the market both in terms of price and availability.

This is in contradiction to what you wrote in your review that we are a scam because scammers don’t return your money. Poor, Poor, Poor! I would give a zero if possible

I would give a zero if possible. I placed my first order with the fir several.items totalling over $400. The first item worth $5 shipped to my home however was damaged. Several days later I check on another tracking number I found out was issued. That tracking number shows a shipment that was delivered to an address in another state that was not mine. When I contacted H&M via email on Friday. I heard nothing back. On Tuesday I contacted them again and asked how to fix the damaged item and where is the rest of my order and when will it deliver to me. Their response was laughable. I was told my items delivered to a different address that was not mine and they too were damaged so they will refund my money. I told them that I wanted the items I ordered. They could care less. They gave me a partial refund. Come to find out. Even though they acknowledged my order for over $400 they never even processed it all. They could care less. I think they baited me in with low prices and because I ordered volume I got a discount, but then couldn't deliver the product. Bottom line, poor customer service, poor company. If its too good to be true it is. They bait you to order and they don't deliver. Even when I went back to them again and said just deliver the items I ordered, they would not respond. Stay away!!!! Shop somewhere else, save yourself the aggravation of dealing with a company who can't deliver. Wreaks scam.

We have issued you full refund for the damage you reported.

We don't tamper or change the packaging coming from the vendor, however sometime, due to the material of container the solution is thin which makes it difficult to contain especially during shipping from longer distance.

On checking your order I can see that we did not have this item in warehouse near to you and was shipped from further location. That explains the damage.

Your issue has been reported to the repective department to avoid any future occurance.
