Marvellous Morocco
We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night tour & we wish we’d have had more time.
The manager, Soufiane, was very helpful with our initial enquires & moulded a trip to suit our timeframe & needs.
At the beginning we met our driver & guide, Hassan, for the next 6 nights.
Hassan is professional & courteous. He is a wonderful guide, safe driver, (part time mechanic) & a top bloke.
(That’s Australian for a great guy).
We encountered some long drives in our travels & it was so good to hear the history about different areas & cultures of Morocco as well as the ever changing scenery.
We learnt some key words & phrases of the different Moroccan dialects & languages including the Amazigh.
Hassan was very patient with our pronunciation.
We definitely needed more time to really appreciate all the different towns & cities & we would suggest to other travellers to allow more days.
Part of our package included a separate guided tour of Fes & Marrakesh which we enjoyed & was very informative.
The Riads (hotels) we stayed in were pleasant with breakfast included each day.
They included some beautiful buildings in very central locations.
