Excellent eco toothpaste that actually cleans your teeth, protects them and leaves you feeling fresh. Highly recommend! (We’re on our 4th & 5th tubes) Faye’s customer service is also wonderful!

Great product and customer service
While the delivery was delayed due to COVID-19 I appreciated the contact to apologise. The toothpaste is great - fresh and minty. Wholly ethical, great customer service I would highly recommend.

Love how conscious they are about their packaging and what ingredients they use. The toothpaste has a nice texture and taste good + it was important for me to fine a natural toothpaste with fluoride. I absolutely love it! They are also super friendly and quick to reply

Happier Toothpaste
I have tried many SLS-free toothpastes but none have left my teeth feeling as clean as this, and my tongue clean of paste. Nice flavor too.

Great toothpaste and customer service but poor packaging choices.
Love the toothpaste itself. Sadly I wouldn’t buy again simply from a packaging perspective.
I can understand it is difficult to have a plastic free lid on a tube but perhaps an alternative could be looked into.
I noticed the logo on the tube is a plastic sticker, which itself is not recyclable and unless the consumer has spotted this and removed the sticker before putting the tube in the recycling it is likely that the tube is now destined for landfill.
One of the most disappointing things was the mailer it is sent in. Completely lined with bubble wrap and sent with a sticker on it encouraging the consumer to reuse. There are completely plastic free, sturdy cardboard mailers readily available. Please take responsibility for the waste you are contributing and consider using these instead of putting all the responsibility on the customer.
I did have a problem with my order arriving and Faye helped me out and was extremely helpful and responsive.

Hi Lizzie, thanks so much for your feedback and really glad you love Happier Toothpaste. To answer your concerns about our packaging, firstly we are a very small, new start-up, having only launched 5 months ago. Our offer is constantly evolving as I source improved packaging which better fulfills Happier’s Sustainability First ethos.
Regarding the plastic padded envelope: I try to follow principle of Reuse before Recycle, because so much stuff is either not recycled, and if it does get recycled, the energy loss is significant. I decided to pay more for better quality padded envelopes so Happier customers could reuse them (they are also recyclable). However feedback I got from customers was they found it hard to reuse the envelope. So last month I changed to 100% paper padded envelopes. These are still good enough quality to be reused, but much easier and energy efficient to recycle. I have also changed the stickers on envelope to recycled paper stock and printed using vegan compostable inks. I am also part way through changing the insert flyers to same recycled paper stock and inks, I am doing this in stages rather than waste the previous flyers which are already printed.
In terms of tube sticker, when aluminium is recycled the first process is to heat it up so it becomes molten. At this stage all the impurities like paint and coatings from drinks cans and other things like plastic labels etc are removed. Aluminium is one of the easiest and energy efficient materials to recycle.
Regarding the plastic lids, at moment I have not been able to source an alternative to plastic which works as a lid. I am currently testing a reusable lid scheme, with a small group of customers and am hopeful this could be a solution.

Happier beauty toothpaste is fab
Happier beauty toothpaste is fab. I'd been looking for a non-plastic tube, fluoride containing toothpaste for ages and this is the only one that suited everyone in my family (including fussy kids!) - familiar paste form, great flavour and good for environment. I love the personal touch from the company and love to support small start-ups. Great product and I'll be a regular user.
