BOILER JUICE & HALSO - NOT RECOMMENDED
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and frustration with Boiler Juice and their third-party fulfillment supplier, Halso. My heating fuel order, placed on February 17th with a promised delivery date on or before March 3rd, turned into a complete nightmare.
Despite the ample lead time, my order was repeatedly mishandled. Halso, the fulfillment supplier, cancelled my order twice, citing tanker breakdowns as the reason. I find these excuses incredibly hard to believe, especially given the repeated cancellations. The lack of transparency and professionalism was appalling.
The consequences of their incompetence were severe. I completely ran out of heating oil, leaving my home without heating for two full days during a period when it was desperately needed. My boiler is now not firing and requires attention so I am still without heat in my home. This is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for customer welfare. I had already let both companies know that my daughter suffers with life threatening asthma and it is vital our home is kept warm.
Boiler Juice's reliance on such an unreliable third party like Halso reflects very poorly on their own service. They offer no apparent oversight or accountability, leaving customers at the mercy of Halso's ineptitude.
I strongly advise anyone considering using Boiler Juice or Halso to look elsewhere. Deal directly with reputable and reliable fuel companies. Avoid the stress, inconvenience, and potential hardship that I experienced. My experience has been a complete and utter failure, and I would never recommend either company to anyone. The tanker driver from Halso who finally delivered today was very friendly.
