I have used 2 or 3 packs of halite salt….
I have used 2 or 3 packs of halite salt in my water softener. The salt water in my softeners brine tank as turned brown and looks like oxtail soup. The softener no longer works and the cost of a service visit from the water softener suppliers to repair the softener is a multiple of the saving made in using halite salt. I should have stuck with the salt recommended by the water softener suppliers ,

The second time around
This is the second time that I have ordered from them as they offered the best price although a bit higher in price this time. Delivery was quick like before. I would recommend them to all who need to purchase salt for their water softeners without hesitation.

Competitive price but some damage in transit and awkward packaging
6 blocks ( 25%) were crushed
The blocks were tightly packed in packs of 3 ( 24 kg) which meant they had to opened ( with some difficulty) before being able to move the blocks to place of storage. Previous suppliers have sent them individually which made it much easier to handle

Very quick delivery. Very well packaged. Value for money.
I use to use another supplier, but their prices have increased and the salt was delivered by DPD ,as are yours, but they never packaged the packs and most of the blocks ended up broken. No chance of that happening with yours, as they are well packaged as packs of 3.
Have not used the product in the softener yet, but looking at the salt block I do not expect any issues with it.

Great Customer Service
I ordered block salt from Halite Salts and it was dispatched very prompty. However, the courier company (DPD) messed up completely and delivered only partial order and that too damaged. However, on contacting Halite about the problem, they were very polite and apologised on behalf of the courier company and promptly sent replacement salt in the same week. Their director (Ollie) personally called me to express concern about the experience I had - which obviously was the fault of DPD rather than Halite Salts. Great customer service and I would highly recommend them !
