Was told my order was coming on Tuesday…
Was told my order was coming on Tuesday so booked a day of work phone Tuesday afternoon I was told it was going to be Wednesday now so I booked another day of work ,phoned Wednesday morning to make sure it was coming person on the phone said if you were told today it will be there today and hang up , phoned back Wednesday even to see when it was coming I was told your order won’t be with you until Thursday had to book another day of work finally came Thursday morning

Supposed to be a click and collect…
Supposed to be a click and collect service. My partner was collecting items and had to go into yard and find herself. It was 4 hours after the click and collect order was paid.
On another occasion my 68 year mother was collecting a bucket of tanking slurry. Which she had to find and carry from stores to the counter herself. Click and collect service seems pointless if you have to find products yourself and help for elderly people on that occasion is unacceptable. Maybe there was a staff shortage that day but last two experiences were not great. Click and collect service should be collected at the counter I would assume.

Extremely poor experience with delivery
I had an extremely poor experience with a delivery arranged through this company, specifically the Garstang Branch.
The driver was unable to access my property's driveway safely, which I understand can happen. However, instead of clearly communicating a proper alternative or arranging a solution, the materials were left outside my property boundary on a public grass verge next to the A6, a main public highway, unsecured, partially unpacked, and not in a usable location.
I was then expected to help move a substantial amount of heavy material myself, including paving slabs, which is not a reasonable expectation to place on any customer. I was alone at the property at the time, and the situation quickly became uncomfortable.
The driver’s conduct and behaviour added to this and was completely unacceptable. When I questioned the situation, I was met with a dismissive attitude and comments that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. As a young South Asian woman dealing with this on my own, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and the interaction left me feeling pressured and unsafe on my own property.
I had to call to complain after the situation and was only then told that alternative delivery options and more suitable vehicles had been available and that arrangements had been discussed internally. None of this was communicated to me at the time, leaving me to deal with a situation that should have been properly managed by the company. Following another official complaint to the branch directly via e-mail, the branch manager’s response was disappointing, where instead of addressing the substance of the complaint, he defended the driver and reduced the issue to how I “felt,” rather than acknowledging the clear failures in service and communication.
This experience showed serious issues with communication, delivery handling, and customer care. The service was not completed to a reasonable standard, and the way the situation was handled was unacceptable.

Poor Communication…
Had a call one day to say the delivery would be a few days and they would be in touch to arrange delivery, next day while out shopping it was delivered into the middle of our drive!
