Supposed to be a click and collect…
Supposed to be a click and collect service. My partner was collecting items and had to go into yard and find herself. It was 4 hours after the click and collect order was paid.
On another occasion my 68 year mother was collecting a bucket of tanking slurry. Which she had to find and carry from stores to the counter herself. Click and collect service seems pointless if you have to find products yourself and help for elderly people on that occasion is unacceptable. Maybe there was a staff shortage that day but last two experiences were not great. Click and collect service should be collected at the counter I would assume.

Terrible service, item was not ready for collection and no one available in yard to get it for me, then was given 2 of same item and had to off load because couldn't get through gate check..

Poor Service on POSI Joists
Poor service from start to finish on POSI joists. Chose Haldane Fisher due to their turnaround time from their quotation. Lead time from order confirmation then went from 3.5 weeks to 5.5 weeks. Couldn't confirm a manufacture date for 3 weeks in a row as 'they were very busy'. Finally, upon delivery they sent a lorry driver who was uninsured to operate the Hiab crane and no way of getting the joists off the lorry. Had to manually lift joists off by hand. Couldn't believe they actually sent a lorry driver from Newry to deliver joists who is unable to operate the crane. Awful service

First class service
We visited Haldane & Fishers Newry on Tuesday, plumbing department first, purchased a large radiator, Davey that served us very helpful very knowledgeable. Moved then to building supplies, met Thomas told him what we were after very pleasant and helpful, ordered and paid for delivery. Rang this morning spoke with Frank, very helpful who sorted out our delivery, Mantas arrived this afternoon with all are items, put them where they had to go, very nice young man. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all the way.
Highly Recommend Haldane & Fisher they treat customers with respect, helpful, knowledgeable. Will be back.

Products that are received were of quality I have come to expect from Haldane & Fisher but delivery left lot to be desired. Items were simply left at roadside outside gates. I had no contact with delivery date/time so wasn't expecting them until I saw it later that day.
