Dr Amy is a wonderful and caring doctor who filled me with such confidence when she said that everything I was dealing with regarding my hair issues was fixable. I'm already noticing a difference in the quality of my hair, and I would highly recommend her. 🙏🏻

I saw Dr Amy at the Hair Gp and am so pleased I did, she’s extremely knowledgeable about everything hair and as a NHS GP is a great person to see as she is focusing on your full health and how to help. The advice and treatment options she has suggested for me are fantastic and I can’t wait to get started and hopefully see some hair growth. She is not trying to just make money from you like some other company’s that I have been to. She has suggested many things I can use over the counter and that makes it very affordable. I wish I had known about the hair GP earlier and I had to hold back from literally crying as I feel listened to for the first time. If you are thinking about going to see the hair GP I suggest 100% do it you will not be disappointed.

Dr Amy Vowler was exceptional. Made me feel incredibly at ease and comfortable. Had a long in depth discussion about all of my daily habits and medical history and what I had been experienced. She gave an incredibly in depth and understandable explanation and provided very easy and affordable solutions. I wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend her.

I was very nervous heading to the appointment but Dr. Amy was so incredibly understanding. She listened to me. She answered all my questions thoroughly and in turn asked me lots of questions. She has given me a clear plan of action and reassured me that there is stuff that we can do to improve my situation. I had such an amazing experience with Dr Amy! Having trouble with your hairline during your late teenage years can be very daunting and has recently taken a toll on my confidence. Right from the beginning, Dr Amy made me feel super comfortable and reassured. She was super kind and really easy to talk to and listened to all of my concerns.
My favourite part of the consultation was seeing my scalp and hair under a microscope, which was so cool and fascinating! She explained everything thoroughly and with great detail. We discussed on what might be causing my hair loss and went through different treatments.
What I really appreciated most was that I never felt pressured to buy anything or start medication right away. I’ve read reviews on other Dermatologists/ Trichologists about people feeling pushed into treatment, but Dr Amy was nothing like that! She went through all the possible treatments but left the decision completely up to me, which is really respected!
I left feeling more confident and reassured and a lot more hopeful.

Admitting to yourself that your post-menopausal hair has noticeably thinned is challenging. Even harder to articulate that to someone else! However, Dr Amy Vowler's sympathetic, professional and engaging approach was essential to commence the topical treatment that hopefully thickens my hair ... I'll let you know.

As I entered my 40s, my hair was noticeably thinning on top and seeing myself on camera in Zoom calls was enough to make me finally take action. There is an overwhelming amount of information online, and after researching clinics, I decided to try Hair GP. Right from the start Dr Amy really took the time to thoroughly examine my hair and explain the best options available. I was among the first to start losing my hair in my friendship group in my early 20s, and I always felt self-conscious about my hair and appearance. I went to visit Amy with a view to enhancing my hair. Whilst my hair is just thinning slightly I wanted to see if I could improve things. Right from the initial communication the service and response has been exemplary. I had a course of PRP injections which are starting to show positive signs. I was expertly guided by Amy from the beginning. She explained all the steps in layman's terms and knew how to ensure I was comfortable with everything before deciding to proceed. The location is quiet and easy to find and very clean. The treatment was not painful and amy was always extremely friendly and warm and ensuring I was ok all the way through. She made it a pleasant and smooth experience. Amy is extremely professional and a pleasure to talk to.
