Why you would make it so difficult to place an order is baffling. You've lost a £350 order and any future custom.

The sink i got 2weeks ago is now all stratched and stained. The quality is rubbish . I previosly had a sink for 12years and it was in better condition than this new one i had installed as part of a fitted kitchen package . Would not recommend to buy . I will be replacing it in next few weeks as it s rubbish ,when filling it it spalsh out all over as it also has very little dept .rubbish
4 pack legs not sealed properly. All falling out
I bought a Hafele sink which had no instructions. I rang their technical helpline with what I thought was a simple question and was sent an email with a link to a website with instructions for a different type of sink, although I'd clearly described mine. The email also said it had 5 attachments, but there weren't, I was later told that their email system just does this for no reason.
I replied to this idiotic email, and their reply said there were were no instructions in their UK or Europe offices and no one could answer my question, and that I should ask a plumber. This email response said there were 10 attachments and of course there were none.
As others have said on this site Hafele phone staff are rude and impatient, and I think enjoy making customers feel stupid.
I would've returned the sink if I could have. Doing a fairly extensive refurb but will never buy Hafele again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order in April. We were assigned an account manager who was very keen to help. We paid the proforma and were promised a delivery date at the end of April. I called to chase at the beginning of May and it was still out of stock so I was given a new delivery date in May which came and went. I've had to chase again today and the item is still not in stock. It hasn't been shipped. This company is a joke. We work on large projects and all equipment has to be consolidated and delivered to the site at the same time. I've got huge bits of catering equipment that have all been delivered. The only thing holding us up is one stupid bin from a company who literally do not know what day it is. No urgency whatsoever. And the very "helpful" the account manager is nowhere to be found.
Hafele send everything via courier, our experience was nothing comes on time and when it does it comes damaged and they do everything they can to not replace it. A faulty dishwasher that had been dropped by the courier caused thousands of pounds of damage to a brand new kitchen. We complained and asked to speak to someone senior enough to discuss our account. Until this point we haven’t paid, and now they have sent it to debt collectors with no conversation or proper procedure followed.
Typical multi-million pound company wanting to steal from the little guy and think they can bully.
Very bad customer service. Can't believe that the lady at the technical support just hung up on my face, that's so rude, man.
Excellent care and attention from David Linford in resolving the issues we had with appliance accessories.

I tried to buy a replacement part for a corner unit. On 25th May I provided the part number and inquired about order options. After chasing for a reply, I reiterated the part number on the 4th June, and the response was - do you have an account with us? Once again, on the 5th June, I provided the part number and inquired about order options.
The reply was "Item xxxx-xxxx has been discontinued without replacement; we do not provide this spare part anymore".
Why was I not told that the part was discontinued without replacement when I inquired on 25th May?
Why was I made to waste 10 days chasing?
UPDATE: Since writing the review above I was contacted by a Customer Care Manager, who resolved the situation (the part number had changed) and sent the required parts FoC.

What a rip off I have used Hafele for many years and have found them okay and prices a little expensive but over all okay However that has changed back in April 2024 I placed an order for a pack of 100 x vents item Art. no. 571.10.700 for £21 + vat less than one month later they want to charge my £52 + vat a massive price increase I contacted customer services and got fobbed off with yes that is correct contact you account manager to everyone one out there this is only the tip of the iceberg of their price increases so check your order before placing there are other companies out their so Start sourcing your stock else ware as Hafele will not be around for much longer ripping of customers as thay are doing

When phoned to cancel order I got told item dispatched, impossible to cancel!!!
Delivery didn’t arrived on time, project finish been delayed
Had to buy those items somewhere else

I ordered a Pull Out Waste Bin, for Door Front Mounting, two tier bin system, For cabinet width min. 400 mm, 1x 34, 2x 16 l (Art. no. 503.33.502)
Not happy with the quality (very flimsy for the price paid) but the supplier would not take back as it was not 'faulty'. Told me to contact Hafele directly. Hafele call taker was rude and dismissive as they only deal with trade and told me to take up issue with supplier! With no options other than to forfeit the £200+ paid, the bin was installed. It is a very expensive mistake and Hafele customer service was non-existant :-( If the bottom bin is allowed to get too full, rubbish catches on the upper bins. The handles on the two upper bins are so flimsy that they pop out every time I try to remove the bin[s] to empty.
Design appeared to be good 'in theory' - but quality is poor and design is flawed.
Like 'Trotter's Independent Trading' - ..."no money back, no guarantees..."

I am writing this follow up review to my previous one star review, complaining about customer service and the fact that staff members at Hafele had lied to me. Since my review was published I was contacted by customer care manager Mr David Linford, who had not been aware of my case. Once he investigated and discovered the catalogue of errors over the last 8 months he swiftly resolved the problem. I received a complete new bin unit (more than I had requested) the very next day!
From this experience I would conclude that customer service at Hafele is variable and depends on who you get dealing with your issue. if you are lucky enough to get Mr Linford, who has the right people skills and understanding of what customer service is, then it is likely you will be listened to and your problem satisfactorily solved. Hafele would do well to send all their customer service staff on the same course that he has been on.
