The model I got (cascade) is better than expected. Water has 0 smell and tastes really nice. Instant hot water is an extra.

I spent a lot of time researching benchtop water filters before buying the H20. Most companies I asked to substantiate their test results either didn’t reply or provided doctored results.
As soon as i contacted H20 Australia the customer service (via WhatsApp) from Chris was immediate, accurate and helpful with test results provided and even a on the spot video in the Melb showroom that showed me the product I was interested in and talked me through the features. I needed to see it like that to better understand how large the unit was in real life.
The delivery was super fast and after 5 months of use, I’m extremely happy with the water quality. It is very cost effective and the fact it re-mineralisers the water is exactly what I wanted (without plumbing in a benchtop unit).
I also bought the shower filter and i can’t smell chlorine anymore (like I still can from the bath tap).

My whole experience was really positive from H2O. I visited the Southland store to collect my cascade machine and i found the whole system really welcoming and warm. actually they didn't have the extra filters in stock, but they delivered them recently after a few weeks (i didn't need them because my machine already had filters). the water quality is so much better.

thing leaks out of the box. It's massive — refilling the tank is a workout. Support exists in name only: email-only, no weekends, and radio silence once you ask for a refund. Worst purchase I've made. Avoid.

I had a very disappointing experience with this product and the company overall.

The purchasing process itself was fairly typical, but unfortunately that’s where the positive experience ended. After placing the order, communication was handled only through email, which involved long back-and-forth exchanges, including sending user videos. There was no accessible real-time support, which made the process unnecessarily frustrating.

When the product arrived, it was faulty from the start. The tank was leaking, the tray was leaking, and even when set up on the benchtop with a jug, it continued to leak. In addition to these issues, the product is very bulky and impractical for everyday use. The touch controls are also poorly designed and difficult to press, which adds to the overall inconvenience.

When I contacted support to request a refund, I found the process even more frustrating. Phone support appears to be available only for sales, not for resolving issues. Refund requests must be handled via email, and customers are required to return the product at their own expense. On top of that, the company states they will “inspect” the returned item before deciding whether a refund will be issued. There is also a 25% restocking fee, and in some cases the product is considered non-refundable—even when faulty.

Overall, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I have purchased many products through major retailers and have never encountered this level of difficulty in resolving a clear product issue. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious. The product quality, usability, and after-sales support fall well below expectations, and the positive reviews on the website do not reflect my experience.

The purifier delivers on its core promise of providing clean, remineralised water with multiple temperature options, which is a great feature for everyday convenience.

However, there are a few practical drawbacks that impact usability. The unit is quite bulky, so it takes up noticeable counter space. The 7L water tanks need to be removed every time for refilling, which can be inconvenient in daily use. Additionally, the water dispensing speed is quite slow, which can be frustrating, especially when you need larger quantities.

Overall, while the functionality is good, the design and user experience could be improved for better day-to-day convenience.

Contacted H20 a few hours ago due to some problem with the purifying function, Chris one of the team member immediately replied my whatsapp question within seconds and even sent a clear video guide on how to try and fix the problem.

Awesome customer service and straight to the point problem fix.

Everyone in the family find it easy to use. Love the coffee and tea temperature that suits my everyday routine. The cool temperature works excellent for the hubs as he is always on the go. No waiting time for the right temperature, it’s less than 3 secs for the water to dispense. Highly recommended
