I purchased a theme from GT3Themes
I purchased a theme from GT3Themes, expecting a smooth experience based on the product description and my previous success with similar purchases. Unfortunately, the theme was not compatible with my server, and no mention of compatibility requirements was made in the product description or documentation.
When I reached out to their support team for help, I was told the issue was a server error and to contact my hosting provider. Despite my best efforts to resolve the issue, the theme remained nonfunctional for my use case. Their support team refused to offer a tangible solution, placing the entire burden on me to fix the issue without acknowledging any potential compatibility concerns.
I requested a refund per their policy, as the theme did not work as described and could not be fixed. However, my request was denied, with their reasoning being that they "saw some images working" on my site—ignoring the fact that many issues remained unresolved.
This experience has been incredibly disappointing. Their dismissive and unhelpful approach to customer service, coupled with their refusal to honor a fair refund request, has left me frustrated.
As a loyal customer of Envato, where I purchased the theme since 2011, this is the first time I’ve had to escalate an issue to this extent. I would not recommend GT3Themes based on my experience with their lack of support, inflexible refund policy, and disregard for customer satisfaction.
