Impressed and overwhelmed

Grave Clean is an excellent organisation.
Communication with staff (who are very polite, friendly and helpful) and regular updates are much appreciated. Photos of work pre -treatment and post treatment were sent by email so we could see progress.
The work done is of an excellent standard and the cost was very reasonable.
I would certainly recommend this company.

Cleaning and lettering
I placed an order on 27 October 2025. The work to be completed was to clean two gravestones in a Somerset churchyard, completely re-letter one of the stones and touch up a few letters on the other. One stone marked the grave of people buried in 1967 and 1970 and the other 1933 and 1944. The price quoted was £502 and there were no attempts to inflate this either before or after the work was completed.
I sent a reminder email on 15 December and received an email on 17th to say the work had been mostly completed and received before-and-after photos. The older stone had calcium deposits and was treated appropriately and would be revisited in about a month; I sent a reminder on 16 February. This work was completed on 20 March.
I did feel that I had to chivvy the company a little, but that is my only gripe. They did choose to apply treatment to the older stone in December and then return for further work. Had they left the initial treatment as it was it would still have been much better than the original, so I regard this as exceptional service, taking the trouble to go twice. The office staff were friendly. The work done was superb and the stones look wonderful. I have the impression that the company strongly cares about doing a great job and also feel that they succeeded in doing so. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Headstone Clean
Very easy process to arrange the headstone clean. Great communication throughout, it did seem quite a while from booking to completion, but in hindsight the weather in that period was really bad, so it would not have been cleaned, once the nicer weather returned it was completed very quickly. Great final update with before and after photographs, showing excellent cleaning and re painting of the engraved words.

Complete transformation
From my first contact with Lynne l was impressed by the way she took time to explain everything to me and patiently answer my questions.Nothing was a trouble to her and l was kept fully informed as to when the work was completed and the before and after pictures of our family grave.It had been in the cemetery over 100 years and now looks fantastic.l was amazed by the transformation and would unreservedly recommend Graveclean.
