I KNOW the meat is pristine. EVERYTHING this company sells is pristine. In fact, I thaw it and then can it. It is some of the best canned meat I have ever had. I LOVE U.S. Wellness meat.

Okay, this has to be the best stew beef around. This meat is always lean, which makes me happy. And we eat a lot of soups and stews in our home. We are very pleased with the stew beef!

Pieces were very variable in size and shape. Ranging from 1/2 to 2”. I like 1.5-2” cubes. A lot of this were thinnish cuboid pieces and 1” cubes. Some as tiny as 1/2” cubes. 1” or less - too small for stew and a time sink to try to brown. Flavor was decent. Not quite tender enough after 3 hrs in the Dutch oven but good after more cooking on the second day. I should have taken a photo.

I like that there is not gristle or much fat. It is nice beef with good flavor and tender when cooked.

I cook Indian style stew and this stew meat works perfect with the recipe. My friends love the stew and they think th quality of meat is good as well. This stew beef is a must have in my freezer.
