This cut is currently sourced from both our domestic cattle and our farm partners in Tasmania. The climate in Tasmania is a utopia for cattle because of the year round maritime climate buffered by the Southern Ocean. No hormones or GMO's are allowed on the island and air quality is recognized as the gold standard for purity on the globe. Tasmania is slightly larger than the state of West Virginia and covered with some of the finest grass in the world.
All of US Wellness Meats' beef products are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished.

Grass fed steaks are known for being dry. These steaks are juicy and delicious. I know I am buying grass-fed from start to finish. No antibiotics, pesticides or hormones. I said in a previous review I hate the Styrofoam packaging. Not just because of the environment. It is impossible to break down. After a few deliveries my basement looks like a warehouse. I know they are working to change it. Thrive Market does not use Styrofoam. It can be done. How much longer do we have to wait for a package that isn't a brick?

This steak is so flavorful and versatile since you get both cuts of beef on a single T Bone. Is enough for my husband and I to share. Comes out perfect every time. Great on the grill or in a cast iron pan.
