I am AIP Paleo so I started eating organ meat & US Wellness Meats has been my go to source. I just randomly order whatever is available. I did not actually know if all of this was meant to be eaten so my bf cut it up & we made kabobs with it. Very good!😋

The smell of it was impossible to get past, tasted awful
First time buying and eating kidneys. NGL it tastes weird, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with US Wellness; it's just a foreign taste. But color, texture, density is all great. I'll buy again, for the sake of quality, recipe experimentation, and nutritional variation, but not for flavor...
The kidneys were new to me but my guest was very familiar with them and loved them. I used a french recipe which made them really delicious. The prep was tedious so they wont be on my regular shopping list. I will research more recipes!

Products came fast. They were safely packaged, still frozen. This is my second order, and definitely not the last.
Makes me feel good to know that the animal has been treated well throughout their life. Had not tried kidney before, surprised it was flavorful and tender.
