Grant Estate Agents were established in Newtownards in 2002 and strive to be the approachable, down to earth yet professional face of local Estate Agents. Our agency covers the entire Ards and North Down Council areas including Newtownards, Ards Peninsula, Bangor, Donaghadee, Comber, Dundonald and as far away as Ballygowan, Killinchy and Saintfield. We provide a free and honest market valuation and have no up-front marketing or registration fees. Our commission is agreed with you during the valuation appointment and includes all marketing outlays and VAT. Our standard sales package includes a free floor plan, professional quality digital photographs, a video walk-through, Energy Performance Certificate and our support from start to finish. You may be tempted to think that "the cheaper the agent the better for you" but will a low cost agent get you the best price for your property? Will they be fully aware of where prices are at with just a limited number of transactions? Will they have the experienced and dedicated staff available to deal with the issues that can frequently arise after a sale has been agreed? These are the factors which separate a basic agent from and exceptional agent and are also the things most noted in our 5* reviews. Don't take a chance with the sale of your biggest asset - choose Grant Estate Agents.

We would recommend Grant Estate Agents to anyone
We were very happy with how our house sale was handled by Grant Estate Agents. They were very professional in all aspects of the sale and kept us informed at all times.
Any questions or requests we had were answered or actioned efficiently. Our house went on the market on 26 January 2023, we accepted an offer at full asking price a week later and completed the sale 6 weeks later on 16 March 2023.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent to handle the sale of their home.

Our experience with Grants was…incredible, not your average estate agent
Our experience with Grants was absolutely amazing, we originally put our house up for sale with another agent, and it was a disaster. They provided us with advice and assistance even thought at that stage we were not their clients. Once we moved to them, they couldn’t have done more to help us, nothing was too much trouble, from daily chats with Kerrie, to expert photos by John, advice and guidance from Grant, help and assistance from Vicki and Heather. Genuinely and honestly could not thank them enough! If you are even considering selling their home, head straight to Grants, if you don’t honestly you will wish you had!

Highly recommended
From our first contact with Grant estate agents we know our experience with them would be positive.
Grant came to value our property within 48hours and was so friendly. He explained the costs we would incur upfront and there were no hidden fees or charges as we went along. He was honest and realistic with valuing our property and advised us how we could get the best price by making minor changes which was very much appreciated by us!
The online system for viewings was fab as we could see well in advance when we would be out of the property. Within one week of being for sale we had moved to sale agreed.
Kerrie and Vicki in the office were absolutely amazing. Any questions we had, they answered so quickly and were a major help when we had problems with our onward purchase.
I can honestly say I would recommend Grant estate agents to anyone looking to seel a property. I cannot fault them at all.

First class estate agents
My experience with Grant’s Estate Agents has been 100% positive so far. The staff are all highly professional as well as always friendly and accommodating. I was very pleased with the way my mother’s house was presented online and found the manner in which the viewing was organised really efficient and hassle-free. ‘Sale Agreed’ was achieved in just over a week and all being well the sale will proceed smoothly. I would have no hesitation in recommending John Grant and his lovely team.

Thanks for the feedback Graeme - Yes, occasionally a property throws up many unexpected issues that couldn't have been anticipated but that's what separates a great agent from an average agent - the ability and willingness to stick at it, find solutions and get the right outcome for their client. A pleasure to have been of assistance to you.
Very professional
Very professional, Kerrie and Vicky kept us updated on everything from start to finish, selling a home is one of the most stressful things ever, but the team made it not so bad, highly recommended.

Thank you so much, Kerry - it was a pleasure to help you at this time. We like to confuse people sometimes, it was Grant Mulholland who carried out your original valuation and John Grant who took the photographs so I'm taking the credit for that one. Lol.

What a fantastic team! Other estate agents take note. Professional, knowledgeable, yet down to earth and kind. So well looked after from start to finish. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Thank you, Richard.

The best estate agency in North Down.
All of the staff at John Grant's estate agency are very professional and conscientious. I have sold two properties with Grant's and will be using their services in future. I genuinely could not recommend them more highly for quality of service, communication and cost.
