**Update**
The company reached out to me with an explanation of the issues with the easter egg. They advised that the scratches were most likely caused due to the packaging that they used and that they are looking at alternative packing. They sent me 2 boxes of chocolates as an apology for the issues raised ******

I placed an order the end February for Lil’ Bit Caramel box (€33) for myself and as a gift the Pistachio Emerald Easter Egg (€55) with shipping costs the total came to €95.
On placing the order it is not made clear that if you want it to be shipped straight away you need to put in a shipping date otherwise you are put to the back of the line of all other others, even if they are ordered after you placed yours.
My first issue was that I was aware that the easter egg was on back order there was no update provided on estimated delivery despite numerous social media posts from Gra showing the production of the eggs. Delivery only came nearly a month after I highlighted this.

On receipt of the products I will note that the packaging is quiet nice, given this is a premium product its the least I would expect.

The caramels looked nice on the top and tasted ok however the underside of the chocolates that I would have expected to see a properly tempered base was bloomed and had white streaks all over.

I had intended for the easter egg to be a gift however after looking at it, the egg itself was dull and had no shine to it. In addition there was numerous scratches over the whole egg, to the extent I would not gift this. Given the dullness of the chocolate I suspect that the chocolate itself was not fully in temper when it was set. To confirm this I opened the egg and as suspected the egg didn’t snap but more bent. To me I would consider this egg as a “second” rather than the premium product that its made out to be.

I e-mailed the customer service and included pictures to show my issues but as suspected given they have already received my money they don’t care. Highly unlikely that I will ever purchase again and I cannot in good conscience recommend this company.

I've now purchased twice from Gra. Their chocolates are fabulous to look at and wonderful to consume. Imaginative and more than a little special. They make an unique and exceptional gift.

Beautiful chocolates to look at and divine to taste. Boxed lovely, and will be gorgeous presents to special chocolate lovers I know !

Grá Chocolates were meant to include a personalised message for my sisters 60th birthday, which wasn't included, i suggested to the company to forward me on the message and i was completely ignored, so customer satisfaction is obviously not important to them.
Chocs were very costly at 37 euros plus delivery after that and box was very small holding about 10 chocs.
There are lots of chocolate companies out there, look elsewhere and give your business to those who appreciates you.

These chocolates are fabulous in every way! I got an order recently for my mams birthday. There was slight confusion with the order but when I contacted Aisling on the team it was dealt with straight away. Aisling was professional and understanding, my order arrived the following day. My mam loved the chocolates (we all did) they are delicious and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend. Thank you Aisling, Grainne and all the team :)

I have purchased from Gra a couple of times for family in Ireland. I live in the UK but like to support Irish businesses when I can. They absolutely loved the chocolates. My Dad is an artist and especially appreciated the hand painting. I am hoping to try some myself soon !!

I ordered Gra Chocolates online and the website was so easy to use, the hand written note was so special but more importantly the presentations of the chocolates and taste was out of this World! Keep going Team Gra!

These chocolates are some of the best I've ever had. Smooth, rich chocolate that isn't too sweet with a wide variety of delicious fillings. Delivery is fast and customer service is excellent.
